Stargate - Goa'uld vs. Wraith

New And improved version of my old goa'uld vs wraith video
~Story line~
- Apophis addresses his Jaffa forces and followers in the Pegasus galaxy.
- A single Hatak Prepares to attack a Wraith cruiser, exiting hyperspace it masks itself by stationing itself in orbit of a near by star. The Hatak launches a wave of Gliders to attack the cruiser and eliminate any wraith darts.
-Wraith commanders onboard the cruiser scramble the darts. a brief battle rages until the cruiser is destroyed.
-On the planet below the gate activates Wraith hunter come seeking a recreational hunt for humans. One of the Wraith discovers a goa'uld base and they send a signal to their wraith commander. Their Queen is informed. The Wraith hunter become hunted by Jaffa patrols.
- The Wraith Queen addresses her commaders and soldiers.
- 2 Wraith cruisers drop out of hyperspace and launch darts to terrorise and confuse goa'uld forces. -Wraith ground forces attack through the gate, blocking off any goa'uld escape. They feed on near by human villages that allied themselves with the Jaffa. The wraith return to thier cruisers.
- A single Hive travels to another alleged Goa'uld-Jaffa Settlement. It scans the planets surface and locates the settlement, it bombards the Jaffa from orbit.
- Back on the Goa'ulds Pegasus base a hatak returns for supplies and to update Apohis of latest developements.
- Apohis and his fleet arrives at the same time the Queens Hiveship approaches the Goa'uld Planet.
- Detecting Apophis' Ship the Wraith Queen fires the first salvo. with minor damage to his mothership Apohis de-cloaks the rest of his fleet and returns fire onto the loan hive. The Queen launches the darts, however her hive has sustained serious damage and is about to explode. The Hive is Destroyed and Apophis stands down as the remaining darts are being destroyed.

I wanted to see a goa'uld symbiote (or a tok'ra) in a wraith but that never happened in SGA :(

My big idea was that Anubis would win his battle Oma Desla and return to our plane of existence. He could easily end up possessing a Wraith. And thanks to their ability to regenerate when feeding. Anubis could stay in his new host indefinitely. Along with the Wraiths' mental abilities, and hive mind, someone whose been ascended could quite use the hive mind of the Wraith to sway them under their control. Also I could also picture Anubis creating a new brand of Kull Warrior, engineered with Wraith DNA, enabling them feed on the battlefield, preventing them from wearing out like they do. Anubis would be a greater threat than before.

@@LB74 - SG-1 made a gun capable of killing ascended. So even if Anubis returned in a wraith, SG teams would simply be able to kill him. Given that the Tok'Ra killed the last Ba'al, and that both them and the free Jaffa are armed by Earth Alliance, they're another force to be reckoned with. Then there's the half dozen alien races that SG-1 has encountered. By the end of Season 10 SG-1, General O'Niell makes mention of allying with several races against the Ori. Presumably he means these as well as the Nox. The problem with Stargate at this point is that the Earth Alliance is too powerful. They have a means to eliminate the Wraith, and have killed every Replicator. The Goauld are either dead, captured, or in hiding. The Ori are gone. With their anti-ascended weapons, EA could even kill the ancients if they ever showed up. Anubis won't ever come back even if he wins against Oma. With his omnipotence, he'll see the state of several galaxies and realize it's not worth it.

No, I was incorrect. SG-1 used the Sangraal which was an ancient artifact to hurt the Ori. Regardless, SG-1 would just pop that sucker out of Area 51 if Anubis returned.

Goa'ulds were so scared of the wraith once they learned of them that they planted a bomb in Atlantis in "Critical Mass" to prevent them from knowing about Earth's galaxy.

I'll address your points now. 1] Yes i'm more than aware that the wraith queen was Teyla though for the purposes of the video it was not meant to be Teyla. 2] I cant recall an episode in which the Goa'uld actually had a ship engage the Wraith. The Goa'uld did have a presence in Atlantis when they implanted Colonel Caldwell with a symbiote to plant a bomb in the city in a measure to prevent the Wraith from ever reaching the milkyway. That was the episode "Critical Mass".

There was also The SG-1 episode "Pegasus" where the SG-1 team arrived in Atlantis with Odyssey in the hope of blocking the Ori Supergate. During the mission, a wraith hiveship arrived & engaged the Odyssey. Meanwhile in the milkyway Teal'c was stationed with a teltac at the supergate when An Ori warship arrived. Long story short when sg-1 destroyed the wraith hive, the energy transferred through the gate & activated the supergate. The Ori ship was destroyed in the kawoosh of the Supergate.

What if a Goa'uld Queen like Hathor was able to get a Wraith Queen as her host? Just imagine the possibilities there. Aside from breeding a new stock of Goa'uld symbiotes to become her commanders, she'll have the psychic hive mind link to keep them loyal to her. Not to mention if she has access to the Wraith cloning facilities, she'll have an uber powerful army of Wraith warriors as her Jaffa. Plus with Goa'uld DNA she'll also have access to their weapons such as that bracelet of doom they all wear and if possible heal inside a sarcophagus instead of needing to drain human livestock.

I imagine that their viewable 'sick pleasure' is their version of boasting over the fruits of their hunt. Let alone instilling fear into your opponent leave a high possibility to cloud the mind and makes people more susceptible to mistake. So there is a tactical aspect as well.

When you think about it... goa'ulds should really fear wraiths. Since humans cannot quickly regenerate, wraiths "harvest" them only when population rises above a certain level, and then have to enter a long hibernation phase in order to let it grow back again. But if people had goa'ulds in them... their regenerative ability would perhaps make it possible to feed on them continually... If wraiths discovered this, they would probably want to enslave goa'ulds for this purpose.

The Wraith would win for sure. They fought with the ancients, the Goa'uld only used some of the ancients tec (for example the Stargate) without fully understanding it. The Goa'uld didn't know how to use the ZPM, while the Wraith simply made a clone Army and made all ancients run and hide in Atlantis. Only "Problem" is the symbiote itself. If one of them could get close enough to a queen to try to control her, that would be interesting, because if i remember correctly wraith queens have a powerfull mind to control and torture their enemy. I wonder who would be stronger in that fight.

Ha'tak vs cruiser. Meeeh probably give it to the Ha'tak on that one. Their shields would protect them long enough to destroy it, they would probably take significant damage. Ha'tak vs hive ship. I'd give it to the hive. They are so much bigger that any damage dealt to the hive by the Ha'tak would be negligible cause they're so much bigger. And their weapons are of a larger magnitude than a Ha'tak's. I believe it's something like 3000 meters long vs a 600 meter Ha'tak.

I never thought Stargate was a good show growing up. Now I'm in my late teens and just march of this year I seen Stargate sg1 on netflix, I marathon the whole series in 2 weeks, and every Stargate show made including Atlantis and universe in a month. The only exception is infinity. Now I am life long fan of the series!!! Such an epic mythology and story. I gotta say the best Sci-fi series ever created surpassing even Star wars and Star trek, even Doctor who!!! 10/10 I'm a life long fan now!

Last but not least in the episode "Midway", yes the wraith managed to send a force that took both the Midway station and infiltrated the SGC but were stopped by Teal'c and Ronon. In the process Teal'c experienced a wraith feeding first hand. Also in that episode we did see the useage of a Zat'ni'kitel on a wraith for the first and only time. And even in the epsiodes "Vegas" & "Enemy At The Gate" It was purely Earth vs Wraith. The Goa'uld have never done battle with the Wraith.

They dominated for 6 seasons because Earth had absolutely no technology, ships etc. to fight them with. With the Wraith they have intergalactic ships with Asgardian weapons that can destroy Ori motherships and city ships in the form of Atlantis yet still have a hard time. There's no competition.

The wraith were a powerful enemy but most of them have been sleeping for ages until SG Atlantis woke them up. The Goa’uld have been fighting and growing stronger for all that time so their weapons, tactics , and ships have been upgrading all the time the Wraith slept.

Case in point star trek replicators, nanobots and sentient robots=data. crazy advanced medical tech. Why are the humans only living a normal lifespan? How? the advanced medical tech and nanobots means they could have everyone live thousands of yrs recover from injuries in moments like vin diesel in the move bloodshot. genetic engineering that made humans biologically immortal and near perfect.

Goa'uld would make perfect enemies for the wraith. Think about it. If the symbiotes can heal their hosts, then the wraith just have to feed until the host is close to death. Then just wait till the symbiote heals the host, then feed again.
