6:26 - Okay that caught me off guard. I've only ever heard Vader speak in measured tones, frustration, yell, scream, etc but I honestly think this is the first time I've ever heard Darth Vader laugh.

6:27 I never heard Darth Vader laughing until I read this book. And I was surprised to even hear it for the first time as I am still now.

First (and only other) time I ever heard Darth Vader laugh was in that soul Calibur game he shows up in, as he laughs when he wins a match. I'm not sure how I feel about him doing that. I suppose he does have a sense if humor, but I always figure he act of laughing would be difficult if not downright painful

It was written somewhere maybe wookieepedia that he rarely if ever laughed due to his depression

Huh! This gives some proper insight on Darth Vaders motives in taking star killer if he was never going to use him to beat Palpatine. Not to track down the rebels, not to kill off more rogue Jedi...he Just wanted someone to abuse like he was getting abused. Someone who might be able to admire and understand him the way palpatine, a cheap twisted facsimile of the family he always yearned for but would never have been able to have as the twisted monster he became.
