I believe it. I ran a couple Etsy stores some years back screen printing just one color designs and we did amazing especially during the holiday months. There was some truth to the 100 plus designs back then. Maybe not so much now. I know you really like the White toner but you should consider the new Epson F3070 paired with a conveyor dryer. 50 full color shirts an hour Is Insane. You could list 100's of full color designs without an Inventory needed. Anyway. Great video!

When shipping your shirts do you put them in a clear poly bag then place it inside of your custom poly mailer or do you you only put it in your custom poly mailer?
@brandsandempires3 жыл бұрын
Both, that clearly bag protects and adds perceived value.

I'm moving from screen printing for my own brand (about 5 company logos, graffiti style) to using a dtg printer mainly because I moved from a big house to a small nyc apartment...I've paused the merch part of my video productions business for 6 years waiting for dtg prices to come down...I don't wanna got back to screen printing myself again...so DTG was the cheapest option, the Brother BT-12 & the curer are on sale as a package for $1922.00 until Dec 31... next best option for my in house brands that I sell on my own bigcartel store..I'm gonna use the following that my (graffiti video series) has built since 1989 to start streetwear and a separate line that appeals to graffiti lovers.. Next equipment purchase: Uninet iColor 560 White Toner Transfer Printer

That’s a solid path of progression. We ran an iColor and a heatpress out of a small room and earned 6 figures, so I know it can work for you. That BT-12 will pay for itself quickly if you can keep it running and then you’ll have options and an understanding of your sales flow!

Hey I’m a kid so I don’t really have any college education or background in much business but I think I’ve got a really good idea for a product. Any advice on how to get started and market a product without a lot of money.
@brandsandempires3 жыл бұрын
I don't know what your product is, but you have a few options. If you can afford to prototype and test it, look into what it takes to pitch to investors. If the goal is too far out and you are really scraping by, focus on becoming profitable with a more attainable business until you can chase the bigger dream. I had to shelve a huge project because it was bigger than my means. Instead I put my effort into projects that I could handle on my own. It was worth it for me to aim a bit lower at first to create a success staircase and experience for myself. Again I know very little about your specifics. Maybe you should jump into our discord channel?

How much do you spend a day in ad spend? I didn't quite catch what you said about that.
@brandsandempires3 жыл бұрын
I have a $525 a day max budget. But we average closer to $100 because we keep tight control over which products are advertised. I'm very careful not to let a product runaway with the budget that just churns revenue and costs us.
