Thanks for this. I am struggling with my adopted amstaff, it's been 3 years since we have her and it's really our first dog. We had no idea adopting her how tough it's going to be raising dog with her past. Untill she was 6 months old her first owner used to beat her and not feed her properly, she was skinny and afraid of men. We have been training her constantly with some success but still couldn't pass her being scared of meeting new people. Only a while ago I realised that I need to work on myself if I want to finally make it work with my dog. You made me understand that my frustration when she's not listening was ruining our relationship. I used to yell at her when someone came by to the house, and she wouldn't go to her place. We live in a housing estate, so taking an elevator was making me nervous, that made dog nervous. I have made some changes in my behaviour and it's only been a week or two but I see big results in my dog's behaviour. She is more calm, happy and when we are calm we manage to make progress in areas that before used to fail. It's awesome, thank you for that. English isn't my first language, sorry :)

I'm really impressed my Sister owns a dog and she is like not paying attention to the things that disciplines the dog she straight up make the dog fear her when she was a puppy( golden retriever) she didnt train her like waiting on her food she nearly bite me last time i fed her because I wanted to see if she is Resource Protective or not and she really really is and that's what my sister isnt going to work with because she thinks it's normal for a dog I really told her so many times she has to train her basics because otherwise she will do mess things up later on... I want to get my first dog in like 2-3 years and your videos are showing me how to train specific the basics etc. (I'm 20 years old that's why I dont own one already) We had a American Staffordshire when a grow up (my dad and me) and he actually were disciplined from when he was a puppy to when he was put down because of a tumore in 2013 I am so grateful vor your videos keep up the great work brother

Thank you for your videos. 1. I see a a lot of trainers say not to award the puppy if they do something that we asked them to do in training on their ow. I like the way you award her eagerness to please you. 2. My Cane Corso puppy ( T'Challa) is so stubborn. Depending on his tummy situation or the time of day, I can see him struggling to "want" to obey me. I have had many dogs and you all were not kidding with the facts on the Corso being different and independent. I socialize him 5-% of the day, he's 12 weeks old, feels like 12 years old... Truth..people forget that dog training is a full time job..from the moment you wake up, you are training your dog because it is picking up on your habits and patterns, you go for a walk you better make sure that they are working for play and free time, they want food or a treat they better work for it, they want to snuggle with you and have your attention, they better work for it first

When he sees an other dog or is alert he doesn't listen at all i keep training him to look at me when I say his name but at those times i'm totally blocked out. If we go with 2 dogs on a walk and the othe one is in front us he starts to pull like a mad cow keeps barking and jumping and does not listen but when we are in front he is all right does not pull listens to everything. It's a madness and when asked our trainer he didn't say anything useful and not a single advice....

Hi, you might want to check out Victoria Stilwell, she’s like Cesar Milan. I’m not a dog owner and I’ve never trained a dog, I just watch a lot of dog training videos. The situation you described sounds like something I watched Victoria do with a Great Dane. The Dane would get very excited when other dogs approached so Victoria turned the dog around in the opposite direction, so the Dane would get the message that he wouldn’t meet friends if he didn’t behave. When the Dane calmed down she turned around and lead him back to the other dog. Dane freaked out again, turn around. When the Dane behaved, he was rewarded. She did it in a controlled environment with a volunteer owner and her dog. I did watch this her on KZbin so I’ll try and find you t he episode ♥️♥️ hope this wasn’t useless!!
