Hey nobody, good luck and please let me know if you were successful :) PS: nice work on that wise padlock, although I would never pick a beauty like that but I really liked your video!
@NothingPicksLocks4 жыл бұрын
@@AdrianWeber thanks very much! I actually cringed while picking the wise lock because I was scratching the pins, it hurt my heart 🥺 but I really wanted to show off the very cool mechanism and how one would pick the lock. I really hope I can get my hands on one of those stealth locks at some point. It reminds me of the Ikon versa in the way the sliders pivot around the core. Definitely a beautiful lock. I am very jealous of your collection 😁.
@AdrianWeber4 жыл бұрын
@@NothingPicksLocks Hey nobody, I never pick the collection locks and can totally understand you! Despite the fact that a rarely pick at all ;) Haha you are totally right on the versa and it shows that you know the lock world better than many others! I was thinking about the Ikon WSW which is the predecessor of the versa and the EVVA 3KS of course. For a final picture and comparison I need the cutaway which I do not have yet. I will then go into a full analyses but either way they have come up with something new in hiding the key profile within the key itself, really clever if you ask me! My collection is too big, I am actually thinking about giving some locks away because it has grown to large. I know many collectors here in Germany that have even more locks but at some point you begin ro realise: There is only so much you can possess and the most important things in life are not material. The last shirt has no pockets ;) Adrian
@NothingPicksLocks4 жыл бұрын
@@AdrianWeber Hey Adrian, I am definitely a picker first but I try my best not to damage my locks, especially the old and super nice ones. I would have a gigantic collection if I had the money to do so but I do my best with what I have. I get lucky sometimes but usually I just have to drool over you and others videos of the expensive locks that I will never be able to afford. I am really into high security locks and unfortunately they are the most expensive lol like right now I am trying very hard to find a used or broken fichet f3d because I desperately want to try to pick it. I got lucky with the Western Electric 30c that they are not very expensive so I could buy a few and figure out how to pick it and now I met a friend who collects old payphones and payphone locks who is going to let me study his collection to figure out techniques for the other ones like the older 14b. Its neat that you mention the Ikon wsw as I am actually working on picking the w10 right now (well im at work RIGHT now but you know what I mean haha). I am very glad to see you making videos again and I cant wait to see your video when you get the stealth cutaway 😁

This is 3d printed, therefore the tolerances are in the micron range of the printer being used. The lock itself probably has far more tolerance than the key. (meaning the key is much more precise than the lock) It would be interesting to find out actual factory tolerance.

Nice to see a new video from you, Adrian.👍 I hope you get maximum enjoyment from your new and unique _Stealth_ euro profile lock. You may be able to split it and put it into a padlock that accepts euro profiles! So you have the option of door or padlock. Really awesome to see you back Adrian, and I’m really excited about this lock which I have heard of before, but had no idea about the cylinder length adjustment system. I am particularly excited about that feature because I have often thought it would be an excellent idea and there was a gap in the market. I do wonder why they provide it in such an expensive case though!
@AdrianWeber4 жыл бұрын
Hey Picker, it is a salesman sample which you can't buy on a regular basis :) The cylinder length adjustment is actually not new, Keso and others are doing it for years. Abus has introduced a new adjustment feature which makes it very easy but they denied sending me a sample therefore a video has to wait and pushed them back in the line. The one from StealthKey is also a bit differen I believe and I am probably going to make another video about it. Hope that helps! Adrian

Hey pia, I actually do not give a damn whether Harry picked this lock or not. I can only tell you that he still owes me ONE Zeiss Ikon Lock. That we agreed to trade for FIVE other locks. That was 3 years ago and the locks arrived at his place but I never got my Zeiss Ikon. He does not answer his E-Mails nor his phone calls. A fraud and imposter if you ask me. Best wishes, Adrian

The key is nice, no question about it, but the extending lock, using blocks, that, that's interesting. The fact that nobody put this (to my knowledge) put this into high production, for common use is really weird. Certainly a far better solution from everyone's point of view than making one big lock, as in a production setting, this kind of lock has a far lower impact. You can churn one lock, on module and go at it much faster than with, albeit, standardized mono body locks. Yeah, ramble aside, that's a really nice innovation.

Hey Don, no I had nothing to do with the design :) The company contacted me and asked me whether I could make a video of their lock and I actually wanted to buy one for my "come back" so it really was a coincidence! It is a sales sample and usually all the sales samples have the same key. I believe you can not buy this sample but you can buy the StealthKey lock of course, just go to their website and check out their online store! Maybe I have to edit my notes and add the online shop... Anyway, thanks for the heads up! I will try to keep it up from now on ;)
