please please i wanna ask how do you copy like a midi note of a sample like a kick and paste it on like a different sample say a piano sound just to stay in key????
@stefanguy8 жыл бұрын
Just want to confirm I'm understanding you correctly - You want the Kick to be pitched correctly to fit with the rest of your track?
@ifeanyichukwu87858 жыл бұрын
yes exactly ,,,is stressful trying to fix the the notes in with mouse when i can just copy the kick note in the piano roll and paste it in 808 piano roll then make my tweaking there
@akibeatsm57248 жыл бұрын
Just copy the region (option button) and drag it to the 808 rack

You are a Rocket Scientist!!! I so appreciate you man, your knowledge is vast and well respected!! I compliment you on how easy you make it all become for those who don't know the deal. Because of this, I have two questions for you that hopefully may help others because I am confident you can assist. There are a couple things that I noticed that did not carry over from LOGIC 9. Either they didn't carry over, or I just haven't found them yet... Number One: How does one get the cycle/loop length to appear in the transport window(it used to show the start and end points of the cycle in transport) AND number two: There used to be a "Blue Man" that used to run with you-in other words, it was the "follow the bouncing ball"-as your track played and scrolled along with your arrangement. Both features used to be available in ALL LOGIC versions pre PRO X. I am aware of all the functions associated with scroll in play etc, but in LOGIC 9-if you simply clicked on the Blue Man-it would automatically snap and scroll. I would love to know how to get those two features back(I have been using since version 3, I have seen lots of changes to LOGIC over the years). Please advise when you can, sir.....Thanks lots and lots, keep up the tremendous work!!
@stefanguy7 жыл бұрын
Hey! Firstly thanks hahaha I appreciate the kind words sir! Hopefully I can answer these questions for you. So number one: Right click on the control bar and display at the top. Click on customise. Then under the LCD column toggle on Locators (left/right). Number two: Now I'm pretty sure the blue man has been replaced with the catch in play button or scroll in play. It's the button that has > (playhead symbol) < If you right click on it it will give you some behaviour options. Let me know if this helps. Thanks again!
