Loads I don't get 😄people saying Bullfloat it but if you do that you then need to mag float it then steel finish it you would be there all night waiting for it to go of to get a good finish which just isn't viable in this country. I've done plenty of finish concrete floors but very few in the UK .99% of the jobs I do have UFH and services so oversite concrete then the screeders come in ,far better IMO as that is a cost that can be passed on to the customer rather than struggling with a perfectly good system but one that is not climaticly suited to the UK, great Vid by the way👍👌

Totally agree Andy . We had a late, wet pour which got rained on so no hope of using those big floats . The groundworkers we worked for used them on house slabs but poured a strong mix in early doors to work on the slab in the afternoon .🧱👍🏽

Good work fellas was going to suggest Same thing as Andy west get a ball float that way once you have done your initial screed you can ball float the slab and it will level the slab and seal it remember if you are going to ball float the slab then ball float it side ways on from the initial screed ie 90 degrees it will take any high or low spots once again well done

I see Steve started using a dust mask whilst cutting the Celotex floor insulation with the power saw....very sensible. Alex should think about protecting his lungs too. Lads..again, you don't need to be fanning around with a level, its a liquid, all you have to do is push the Co-Co pops below the milk, Tamp the top with a heavy timber, trowel the edges, a liquid will always find its own level, the height of the slab will be proportionate to the volume of concrete poured, but it will always be level if you smash the Shiite out of it with a timber.
