+Red Tyrant That is in fact an actual vehicle. Not the final design that would be used on Mars, surely, but it was commissioned by the Kennedy Space Center visitor complex as an exhibit. It's normally at the Space Center, but can be "deployed on missions" (aka, lent out as an exhibit to other facilities). www.kennedyspacecenter.com/explore-attractions/nasa-now/mars-rover-concept-vehicle The idea is to get people interested in space exploration, and what better way to publicize the exhibit than by collaborating with the Late Night Show.
