Part of me thinks that if Trump runs for President again in 2024 and he gets the nomination, I'm guessing he'll have Mike Pompeo be his V.P. The reason why I think this is because Trump still hates Pence for not overturning the 2020 election even though there was nothing he could have done, the 12th Amendment to the Constitution states that the President and V.P. can't be from the same state so that means no DeSantis, Rubio, or Scott, Trump probably still hates Cruz and views him as too weak to be his V.P., and I doubt he'd pick a Governor like Abbott, Noem, or Kemp to risk a Democrat winning those elections later on. So, taking all of that into account, Pompeo seems like the perfect yes man that has nothing left to lose politically to be Trump's V.P. in 2024 should Trump be the candidate.

She's a tough old bird! I'm no flag-waving royalist, but I have the utmost respect for her. She's also got a wicked sense of humour and does really good impersonations, usually of politicians and other heads of state. Her Thatcher was apparently better than Thatcher! If you didn't know, Thatcher went from speaking like a snobby upper-middle class woman - the sort my Mam would say she thinks she's better than she ever could dream of being - to a faux "royal" way. Even the Queen doesn't speak like that! (She speaks very beautifully and clearly, but not particularly "posh".) Liz absolutely detested her, because believe it or not, she's more socialist than conservative, not that she's allowed to say anything or even vote. But she's very keen that "her people" (to whom her sense of duty is way above and beyond any politician I've ever heard of let alone lived during their time) are given a decent chance at life - housing, jobs if they're capable and benefits if not, education, etc. She's not allowed to say anything in public, but she's dropped some doozies of hints over the years. Don't let anyone fool you into thinking that she's not intelligent, she's still whip smart. And street smart enough to know what photo bombing is, because she did it to a couple of Australians over here for the Commonwealth Games. They were taking one, she saw it, and they got a pic of her behind them broadly smiling into the camera 🤣 She wears the same sort of clothes all the time she's out and about so people "will recognise her"... Seriously!
