STEPN is a Move 2 Earn game building on Solana. There's alot of intriquite parts to the game, and minting is absolute a part you should know a whole lot of info about!
Here's my first guide on things to consider with the minting system, and I add on some video with 1 mint at the end.

Hi Barndog, got a quick question and would appreciate your guidance please, in this video you are presenting a table with the base minting costs dated 25-Feb-22, I tired looking up the same information on the StepN whitepaper and litepaper, but without any luck, do you have the most recent minting costs chart? I know now you need GST and GMT for minting... appreciate the effort you put in these videos, you are the number one go to guy when I have have doubts about StepN!

each shoe can mint 7 times, the first 2 are the same cost, then gradually gets more expensive

Hey Barndog, simple question I cannot find the answer to anywhere. When you mint 2 shoes as example, and both are level 9 what level is the resulting shoe start at? I'm trainer for a marathon at the moment so super excited to be using this app! And thanks for all of your videos they are killer

shoes minted always start at level 0 again. Epic work on training for the marathon, half is my mid year goal, good luck!

Hi !!!! When you mint a pair of shoes, the minted shoes ( the parents ), are they losing attributes ? And if yes, is it signifficant ?

there is no loss in attributes to the parents, they can mint up to 7 times and they become gradually more expensive it the change
