The main goal of the study was to study in detail the genetic structure of the population during the transition from the Neolithic to the Bronze Age in southwestern Central Europe. Particular attention was paid to the timing of arrival and the process of mixing with the steppe populations, as well as to the social and demographic structure of the population before and after the appearance of the steppe genetic component.
