Watch other Australian TV shows that r in the US as well and most of them feel more authentic. I think it’s not just show based but culture based. By nature Australians r more likely to tell u what they think of something to ur face negative or positive without caring how it makes the other person feel for better or for worse, but at least it’s the truth. While American versions seem to have people who lie ect or put on an act about how they feel rather than how they truely feel. At least that’s what I gathered.

The US rights, of course, refers to the right to market and distribute the product in the US. So Andrew is buying the right to use one of HIS companies as the wholesale distributor of the product in the US. Anyone buying it in the US marketplace would be buying through him. "Options," (not action) very basically, refers to the right to buy or sell a stock at a certain, set price, called the "strike price." The strike price is set when the deal is made, and either doesn't change at all, or is fixed at a certain percentage of the actual value of the stock. What Andrew is likely offering Steve is the right to sell $50,000 of stock in the company to him at a fixed value rather than its value at the time of the sale. This means that if the company loses value, and the stocks are worth less than $50,000, Steve can still sell them TO ANDREW for $50,000, and Andrew takes the hit. This is VASTLY oversimplified, as options trading is crazy complex, but he's basically being told, "If you let me have the right to sell this product in the US, I will give you the option to sell 20% of the company to me at $50,000 (within a certain time frame), even if it turns out to be worth less than that at the time the sale is made."
