Barbeque Connoisseurs Peter Neath and Ian Worton have returned to The Den after pitching to The Dragons a few years ago and getting no investment. They're here to try again with a new product, Sauce Stream LTD, and are seeking a £75,000 investment for 10% of their brand. Their product is a sauce bottle designed to reduce plastic waste, called The SauceStream Squeezer.

It is clearly a oooh thats a nice idea thing you see on social media, but in reality you don't want to buy it - realistically, youd you want one for every sauce in your house? Cleaning must be a nightmare. Better would be bottles that are full silicone that you can just fill up and wash with ease.

That in itself says nothing. You need to spend money to make money. This episode aired at the end of Q1 2022 so it would be logical it needed some time to kick off after that. On the other hand, I doubt the deal even went through since no new shareholders have been registered. Also, there where 2 notices for compulsory strike-off earlier this year, albeit that both have been cancelled. I agree with the person above, it looks like a nice product, but it certainly is one I wouldn't want to own because cleaning would indeed be a nightmare...

I think this is a product where all the dragons would've brought something valuable. The product has the visual "show and tell" element that makes it great for social media and tv shop, where Sara and Steven can open doors. They need to get their manufacturing cost down (and maybe some London office spaces), Touker can help with that. Deborah has the drive and knowledge for eco products. And Peter has all the contacts.
