Considering the funds, the allegations on the wifes side is that Crowder essentially wiped the bank accounts when he moved out in summer 2021, so even if it was legally her money too she didnt have access. The fact that he moved Gerald to the CEO/ownership role AND that she's gettibg paid directly from the company also suggests to me that perhaps Crowder may have had a lot of money tied up in the business rather than as liquid capital available to the wife. So that would explain why the business was ordered to pay her $25k DURING THE DURATION OF THE DIVORCE. Because there may not have been other liquid funds for her to draw from for her legal and living expenses. Based on interviews by Crowder years ago, he did ask her to give up her career to be a stay at home wife, so she was totally reliant on him providing.
@popermen694
@popermen694 Ай бұрын
Your last sentence is very very important. Everyone always forgets that in a scenario where one partner gives up their career they are totally screwed when a divorce occurs. The other partner would hold all of the power. Not to mention that non working partner played a role in the success of the life of the other partner by taking care of the home and children. This is literally the point of alimony. You cant spend two decades of your life without a career and then expect to be fine. Of course you need to be supported. I am just sick of the "its not fair" argument about paying your ex.

@mewster1818
@mewster1818 Ай бұрын
@popermen694 yeah. Are there tines it's unfair? Obviously. Is this one of those times? Not based on any evidence provided so far. The $25k per month isn't even alimony, it's what the court granted to her while the divorce is pending with the express reason that the funds will be for the legal costs. Maximum alimony in Texas is $5k, and max child support for two children is $2.3k. So, at best, the ex will be awarded $7.3k per month plus half the marital assets (and remember how LWC was put into Gerald's name? Kinda seems like some squirrely stuff going on with the assets already.)
@mewster1818
@mewster1818 Ай бұрын
@guntherwhite2043 it's not child support though, that's specifically listed in the court documents to be intended towards her legal fees and living costs and the kids. Max child support in Texas is $2300 for 2 kids, and can't be awarded until custody us settled.

@@mewster1818according to her in the court document he offered he millions of dollars ( more than she would get in court according to her). Just just doesn’t agree with the 50/50 custody and him getting the kids for half the summer. She’s being ridiculous and even tried to have his dog taken from him for no good reason. Also the 25k per month does not have stipulations on it, she ask for it for legal fees, the court did not order that. By the way no one needs 25k per month for legal fees, that’s absolutely absurd.
@KZSoze

NDAs, NCAs, and other related contracts can not only be struck down for being too vague, but even if specific, if they are too ridiculous, they won’t hold up in court. If you have a non compete for a Doctor in your employ, for example; If you say he can’t work at any competitor for 6 months, that’s reasonable. To say he can’t work somewhere else for 10 years … it’s likely to be struck down as ridiculous and unenforceable.

@@moonashaso you didn’t hear her say “should I call the other man” in the video? Sounds like she’s a cheater him berating her wouldn’t be too unreasonable. According to her Steven has offered her way more than she would get through the court, she’s just doesn’t like that he wants 50/50 custody with him getting all of June and half of July. She’s being unreasonable regardless of the cause of the divorce, which appears from that video to be infidelity. You could probably come up with an argument. The government would still ultimately be the ones enforcing the suppression. If a private entity is harassing individuals into giving up their constitutional rights and the government enforces the terms of the contract, that could arguably be seen as a constitutional issue. If he was just being terminated for saying something publicly you'd be 100% right for sure, you don't have a right to not get fired. But, lets say you could sign a contract that made you an indentured servant and violated all of your rights, if the government enforced that contract that would be unconstitutional for sure, despite it being a civil/private matter. With free speech being a constitutional right, there should probably be no way to sign it away in a contract, or at least if there is a way it should be extremely restrictive and specific in what is allowed.

You’d need someone to accept the letter, sign their personal name, and have a receipt sent back to the sender that the person they’re trying to serve personally accepted the mail. It’s a very insecure way to serve someone and it’s not appreciated by the courts, so there is a huge window where the person gets the mail but the court will not recognize the person as being served. The vast majority of all summons are done with a personal process server.

1:07:00 this guy doesn’t know what he’s talking about. The bank literally did appraise trump’s properties in the case that’s being argued, and the banks themselves claimed they were not defrauded and that they liked the business they had with trump and would do it again. This meant nothing however as There was no trial the judge decided trump as guilty through a summary judgment. Then they had a trial to determine how much trump has to pay. Trump overestimated his square footage, but he literally told the bank in that case that it was probably inaccurate and the bank assessed the footage themselves and said yes it was inaccurate. The reason job Stewart got roped in is because he incorrectly described something as being fraud that obviously isn’t fraud and that he himself has done before so Tim pool called him out for doing the thing he claimed was fraud. Tim doesn’t believe that it is fraudulent he was just making a point and he clarified that in his follow up video.
