This might sound negative but I’ve found that the less direct I am with my husband, the better. I never make “demands” For example, “I like when the house is warm, I feel so comfortable” rather than “Go change the thermostat, I’m cold” I’ll just say how happy it makes me when he does things and how it makes my life so much better, and he’ll just keep doing them

I had a friend, her parents were doing well financially. she never went to restaurants eventhough she and her husband could afford it. I visited them once and they cooked food at home, and head to the park where we all relaed enjoyed our meal and even tea and cookies afterwards. It was so good and relaxing. it is much better and much cheaper to make sandwitches at home and go hang out in a park or near the sea. I wish thei young balck man good luck. he seems like a very good guy who is trying hard to provide for his little family.

Being able to admit you sleep better in your own bed is possibly the best thing that could happen to a relationship. Its not about the sleeping in different beds, its the being able to admit it, the being able to set boundaries that keep both of you happy and healthy. If you can both keep agreeing to these boundaries and feel the same about them, you've got nothing to worry about, ever, itll be the strongest relationship you could have.

@juliesmith5831
@juliesmith5831 Жыл бұрын
Yeah, you're right. That's usually why YOUNG women marry OLD rich men. They just haven't figured out yet what is TRULY important. Women CAN also truly love a rich man when they are lucky enough to find a GOOD man who didn't let his money ruin him. And as we all know; ANYONE who has over a certain amount of money bears the burden of knowing whether or not when someone likes them for themselves. Proving yet again; money is not what is important, it's just necessary.

The only legitimate issue that was brought up from the 3 guests was from Josh. Deep down, he and every man knows there's a burden of performance that's on them when it comes to becoming financially stable and wanting to truly provide for their wives, including of course the finer things in life. But at age 25, he's obviously being way too hard on himself. Most 25 year-olds are no where near that point in their lives where they're successful enough to have everything that they want. I guarantee that his wife, who i assume is around his age, knows that very well her self. Again, he's just being overly hard on himself and needs to keep working towards his goals.

this is my only thing. I dated a guy that never took me on a date. Covid happened so I didn't make it a big deal but afterwards, still nothing. When we finally did go out, he would just eat and look all around the restaurant. no conversation ever, we just went to eat and went home. It takes courage to even shoot your shot so i know you didn't get this far just to look at me. You can do that with anyone. I grew up with my father in the home and was taught when a man is really into you, you don't have to ask him for something as simple as a hug or even to go out. He could just be lazy or not very romantic or creative. that sucks. Even leaving a sticky note is still me having to ask for affection and to simply spend time together. I get that men can't read minds or know everything but if i gotta ask you to basically be present or show affection, what do you want me here for? to just look good and cook your meals? I bet you don't have to leave a note for sex. Just a thought. maybe my father taught me wrong But when you like someone, you naturally think of doing stuff for them. My father always tell me don't make excuses for men (which in my past I certainly have done). They're men not babies. The world literally treats men like dumb cave men or like children that can't comprehend. They are grown. How did yall even get to marriage, did you ask him to call you too? I'm sorry But when you really WANT/LOVE someone you cant even go to the store without seeing something they might like or that reminds you of them. If he wants you he has to show that desire. The same way men don't wannna have sex with a cold dead fish, you don't want a cold dead husband. Moral of the comment: Your husband has just gotten comfortable and feels you don't require him to put in effort. he still eats, have sex and sleeps well whether you get anything from him or not.

When I started a relationship with my girlfriend originally, I didn't know when I should hug her or if it was the right time to kiss her...As time goes by, she trains me😂, yeah. Now I know the proper moment to hug her, to kiss her. For example, I should give her a big hug when she yells at me and kiss her when we go to sleep. I think maybe at first you have to ask for affection, but if a man likes you from his heart, he will try his best to learn to read your mind. So in my opinion, a girl should at first figure out if her boyfriend wants to read her mind initiatively. The most important thing is a man's intention or attitude(sorry I am not sure if the word 'intention' or 'attitude' is proper), and then, train him! Sticky note may be just a way for training.

Ever came into your mind to ask the guy if he like to go on a date with you? Based on your story you never thought about that so seems you also didnt like the guy that much either. Also... since your #metoo, feminazi sisters... guys are holding back these days to touch a woman. Men simply dont know anymore when they can or can not hug a girl. Without getting acused of being a creep, perv or predator. Your father comes from a total different time so his wisdom is kinda out dated and irrelevant on this subjects.

@@MsCrissell It seems like, to some extent, she often has to take the initiative in the relationship. Even if we follow Steve's advice, it still implies that she needs to be the one taking action rather than her partner. Having a candid conversation about this situation, as @beet5800 suggested, is a better approach. If changes are necessary, it's essential to address the underlying issues, understand why this pattern exists, and explore methods for resolution. In my opinion, this is the healthiest solution, and it offers a learning opportunity to improve how both partners express love equitably and effectively.

How about don’t say anything and just do it? Ladies he’s your man you don’t need permission to get a hug, a kiss just do it. Now I would say this when you limit your conversation with a man and you make him do all the talking while you rarely say anything but just give a few words responds then he will give up and stop talking to you because it feels like if you don’t want to talk at all. Another thing if your conversation is about gossiping then don’t bother because a man wants to know about you not about what’s going on with other people.

My wife and I have been high school teachers all our lives and, at the end of our careers, we feel frustrated and angry because our income now (exclusively via our monthly salaries) is much lower than it was 10 or even 15 years ago. In real € (we live in Portugal), something like between 40 and 45% less! We can still lead a comfortable life, we are debt-free but, no more holidays abroad, far fewer weekends in our own country or Spain and less spending on eating out and cultural activities (cinema, music, theatre, exhibitions...), which is also bad for the people whose life and jobs depend on the middle class spending money in those activities. Very sad though.

I really wish I could agree with y’all that we should tell men in a relationship what /when and what to do… maybe men need to take time out and watch more romantic movies where they can get some ideas instead of watching only action movies. If we Ladies can do it then it’s doable 😆……

how bout telling women to go into stores and buy only what are needed to get by. to not wear make up and skip the salons-clip their own nails instead, don't buy designer stuff. how bout telling your partner, what you actually feel and instead of saying OK and expect them to read what's on your mind? you want your partners to accept you as you are, provide for you (not all) but you want to change them for you to appreciate them? 😂😂😂😂😂😂

They did not give advice to that last guy I would have told him that maybe he should suggest to his wife to apply for other jobs, she shouldn't be stuck in a job that's stressing her out
