First off, Steve and the audience SERIOUSLY need to lay off the girl. A lot of people in abused relationships have similar situations where they think "this person will change and be better" over and over again. I've been through that with my ex (she wasn't physically abusive but she was verbally and emotionally abusive). It's hard to get out of the cycle. It is completely sad, but have you been in an abusive relationship? I have. Two long-term abusive relationships. It's not as easy to leave as people believe it is. Females, & in some cases, males, are extremely afraid to leave. They have been conditioned to believe things about themselves. Some have been threatened. You don't know a person's circumstances.
