SRV is always amazing...night after night and performance after performance...he always gave it everything that he had!

From the official original publicised release on side-B "Cold Shot" track from sophomore "Couldn't Stand The Weather", record (1984), I haven't experienced, other than "Live Alive", (live record) rendition which broadcasted a 20th anniversary special tribute, on the national Irish language public service broadcaster - TG4. "Cold Shot" single track also featured on various comprised compilation live audio unofficial bootleg releases, titled: "BBC Classic Tracks". (1995), "Blues You Can Use" (1987), The Broadcast Collection (1983 - 1989), North Of The Great Divide (1985), "The Fire Meets The Fury" (1989), Carnegie Hall Complete Show (1984), "Memories Die Hard" (1984), "Mr Clean" (1986), "Mega Rare Trax" (3CD of mainly live material from 1983-1990). A memorable 40th anniversary to sophomore record “Couldn't Stand The Weather" ☘

One thing I’ve learned from pianists/organist/keyboardist is that when they close their eyes and hit that Ray Charles lean you are about to witness man creating audio fire 😂

When he played, he used 13 gauge shredders..Not many people could play the ax like he did.

Beautiful, wonderful song, but if you want to hear what SRV could really do, just spend s few hours and cruise through the whole discography. You'll never get bored, you'll re-listen to at least a dozen songs, and the time will fly. Texas Flood, Couldn't Stand the Weather, The Sky Is Crying, maybe Live at Carnegie Hall and his final ACL performance
