I loved your reaction. You've got great taste! I play this song all the time and each time is like the first--goosebumps, emotion, you name it. SRV is the best and it's so sad he died young. I call this song his "recovery" song--the calm after the storm. Love this man and the fact that he was so selfless and was very proud of his awesome band.

He spent the last years of his short life helping others climb out as well. People today are inspired by his story and life that they have either gotten sober or never had a problem to start. He was always lifting people up.🙏

Awesome reaction! I get endless chills every time I listen to SRV and DT. Tommy Shannon - bass guitar, Chris Layton - drums, and later Reece Wynans make up DT. An incredible band that consistently laid the foundation for SRV to perform his magic.

Glad you’re back doing videos more often…:) patiently waiting for Mad Season- Wake up…:) I know you said y’all will definitely get to it sooner than later..:) I think y’all will love it, it’s some of Layne’s best & unique writing. As I mentioned, he wrote it during one of his times in rehab (where he was in rehab with Mike McCready of Pearl Jam & who he would form Mad Season with on guitar) and was sober when he wrote it, reflecting on his struggles with H. It’s almost a letter/message to himself that he sings… very powerful…:) Sending love from Texas
