Such a true talent, been listening to SVR since I was 16 when cassette tapes were the latest format. When I say you are the reincarnation, I don't say it lightly! Thank goodness I have come across your existence! 🙏🏼

@@blacksouthernrocker . . All good down under, thanks Chris. Great to see you're going so well with the SRV tribbute shows. You know, I tried to get my band to do a ZZ Top tribute back a few years ago now, and they didn't wanna know about it! No one was doing ZZ Top in a city of a million people and we could've cornered the market too. I got the idea after going to watch a lady named Luella do a Tina Turner show. She had Tina's voice naturally without even trying. The band and she came on stage and did a 75-minute Tina show with Luella wearing a spangly, short dress like Tina woulda worn and a Tina Turner wig, and she blitzed it with every well-known song Tina had ever sung, as well as a few others done in the style of Tina. Fantastic! Then after a half hour break, they came back on stage with Luella wearing regular clothes, and did a 90-minute Classic Rock set that included Sweet Child O' Mine . . and her guitar player was better than Slash, I kid you not!! We could've done exactly the same with the ZZ Top songs that I already know how to perform, and Classic Rock is our bread and butter! But they didn't wanna know . . .
