What a special moment that was with the Bream. I know they’re not everyone’s favourite, and certainly not for Carp anglers, but the respect and the genuine joy at catching it was truly something special. A mark of the man

Now I know why I never got the chance to fish the "point" swim at Fordwich during mid eighties through to the early 90's. Arguably at the time the best swim on the lake with loads of water in front of you . One carper leaves and his mate moves in, and so on and on. That aside this was a wonderful film, pretty much covering all the waters I fished in East Kent. CDAA had some cracking waters and river at the time. Anyone remember fishing Vauxhall Lake before it became a nature reserve? Had some cracking Tench in there. Well done Oz and the production team 1st class angling and documentary film making 👏🏻 👏🏻🎣

Wow that was amazing, on so many accounts for me, as a kid I fished capstone farm a small lake stocked full of amazing carp, lots of fully scaled, mirrors and commons, silver fish, pike and tench… then Chris took them all out and we didn’t know where the carp went possibly chillham mill.. Oz did all the fish go in that lake? or spread around the different lakes?? I used to fish in the winter at pluck’s gutter and grove ferry as a kid as well, A friend had a boat and we used to Pike fish during the winter around the boat shed prolific Pike especially when the tide turned we could have two or three takes at the same time… I was a member at chillham mill for a bit, and Canterbury, and that was when paul forward was making bait, squid and octopus with nod oil… I think it was premier baits? A friend who got me into carp fishing fished the school pool and took me to bysing wood pool, where I caught my common carp 14lbs, I live in New Zealand now for over 10 years… I would love to come back and try to catch one of the old capstone stock… love the way you put this across , and love the way you respected that bream, that was a lump! 12lbs was big when I was young fishing at mote park… some great carp in there too..! It was a masterpiece that’s all I can say… please keep them coming… tight lines and screaming reels. Ant
