I have had hypothyroidism for over eighteen years now. I started doing kago about six weeks ago. I have lost twenty pounds and feel a lot better. It makes sense now cutting out gluten. The caffeine is going to be a hard one for me. I love my coffee.

Read your food labels please people to see what ingredients make up the food you are purchasing. There are options still available without soy, gluten seed oils, caffeine, corn etc that we can find to use. I am grateful for the shared information.

My doc get into the habit of only testing me once a year. I was so tired there's days my body felt heavy with fatigue and it would take me more than a half hour to finally get up to take the dog out or get a drink. By accident I lost my bottle of pills and a couple weeks later I'm feeling better and I'm not going to the doc for 2 months. I want the thyroxine to finish leaving my body before I go so I can see where my thyroid is. Lesson learned on having it tested more often

Cortisol pushes down your thyroid, if you're told your cortisol is in range more than likely it's not I've had mine pushed up by cortisol steroids now it's a in a feedback loop in my brain for 3 years, it's more than likely your cortisol is destroying your thyroid not your food

That is to much salt - better would be to take Iodine and Kelp Supplements. I buy all my Supplements from " I - Herb ". Also check out Dr. Eric Berg's videos on Thyroid problems! Or if you have any other questions about your health ! My GP had me on 13 pills a day (91 pills a week) and my Symptoms got worse instead of better - until I found Dr. Eric Berg and the Causes of my health problems - I am off my medications and I am so much better.

You won’t starve, just stop eating out unless it’s a place where you can get items with grains, vegetables and fruits. Process foods bought in packed foods at supermarket stores and restaurants is what is killing people slowly. Choose certified Non-GMO, eat organic healthy food and your body will heal itself. People want to be healthy but don’t want to put in the time to prioritize their lifestyle and prepare wholesome nutritional foods….

I'm sure I have heard reliable naturopaths advise that you should take iodine (not ionised salt as the iodine evaporates from it) when you have thyroid usdues, since the trouble is an indicator of low iodine. Not just for hypothyroid but hyperthyroid too! Iodine is very important. There's more than one form which can be consumed.
