I will defend Jack Black's performance in the Super Mario Bros movie. He gave a killer performance as Bowser. If I hadn't known it was him voicing Bowser, I would have never guessed it was him. His other recent projects, I have nothing to defend there.

Could honestly make the same point he made about the Rock with Kevin Hart in regards to always playing the same type of character. Although Kevin Hart is probably worse as whenever I see him in any film it might as well just be "Kevin Hart stars as Kevin Hart." It's honestly the main reason why I'm really not looking forward to the Borderlands film as i know it's essentially just gonna be him cosplaying as Roland instead of acting as the actual character.

Chris Pratt and Ryan Reynolds have started to annoy me with the slop roles they've been taking since the late 2010s. Somehow the best roles they've had in the past 10 years have been all Marvel films (save the LEGO movie for Pratt cause that was great) I'd say Reynolds is the worst of the two simply because he's actually the one MAKING these horrible movies (other than Deadpool, those were good). Pratt takes any voice role he can, then proceeds to do barely anything outside his actual voice. Both Reynolds and Pratt are funny dudes, and they can deliver funny dialog better than 99% of people, but man, they've had some bad roles lately

The watered down safe roles seem to be a pattern for some actors, wonder if it has to do with them gaining connections/responsibilities with brands etc so they need to behave in a certain way and cant experiment with interesting conceptual roles. Could also have to do with cinema as a whole, barely any film interests me these days - leaning more towards high quality shows and videogames

I don't think Gadot really fits with this group. She doesn't really take on whatever slop roles cross her desk like the others do. She's just kinda a bad actor. Not even really that. She's just bad at dialog, but she's overall tolerable in about 50% of her films.

I can't really say Gal Godot is that bad... yet. I would replace her with the dark horseman Patton Oswalt. He's never the star, but if he has a role in a movie or TV show, it's almost always a previously existing IP that was not cared about by the people making the film/show. Just a 30 second cameo from him will taint the entire project.

Gal gadot's accent is just annoying, and I say that as an Israeli. If anything, should be given small rolls with minimal talking. Others are way past due and i'm tired of seeing them play a 'new character' yet again (although their personality traits are always the same).

Jack Black is really funny and played some legendary characters in his prime, but within the past few years most of his roles have been for very mainstream watered down family films. While Jack Black’s talent hasn’t declined, his position in Hollywood doesn’t allow his natural, off-the-cuff antics anymore. PS. Don’t you mean BLOCK solid bahahahha

At first Kevin was trying to be lovable good guy like Adam Sandler did but his movies weren't funny, so they failed. But now Kevin Hart the very popular comedian always seems like he's trying to be funny in these movies, instead of being funny. Like yelling and bitching, so the jokes land. His role choices are also shit tho
