So my theory on why this was implemented is because in SF5 and earlier, metered fireballs felt like a thing you kinda had to do to blow up armor and win fireball wars and your reward for it was kinda... meh. You got 60 damage and a knockdown.. if even that. EX Fireballs being 2 drive bars definitely had to be something they considered when doing this priority system

I saw Guile use his lvl 2 super and throw out like 5 sonic booms and it lost to an ex fireball. I knew something must have changed in this game.
@MansMan42069 Жыл бұрын
The booms thrown by Guile during his SA2 install are still only regular booms. SA2 only gives Guile the ability to throw multiple booms. The booms themselves are not Super tier
@megapussi Жыл бұрын
@@MansMan42069 What they're saying is that, sf5, each mini boom would each cancel out one hit of an ex fireball. But now, because of the priority system, an ex fireball can beat an infinite number of mini booms
@MansMan42069 Жыл бұрын
@@megapussi Yes, but the reason he mentioned it is because he was under the assumption that SF6 minibooms were Super tier and _should have_ beaten an OD projectile.

For Supers throwing multiple "Fireballs" and not an enhanced one, the ex Fireballs still win, I guess it's the case against Luke Super and Guile Super too. One ex Hadoken win against these Supers.
@AegisKHAOS Жыл бұрын
I want to see this tested out, but I am certain this only applies to Guile's level 2, and not Luke's level 1. Guile's is an install that allows him to throw rapid normal booms, so I get EX beating that. Not so much the case with Luke, as his level 1 is an actual super move itself, therefore EX would completely lose. I say this because I remember seeing Luke and Ryu's level 1 cancel each other out.

Juri's Fuha Stock projectiles don't act like a normal fireball. They're a low profile, slow moving projectile that passes under them. I remember this because I remember how many times I got stuffed by a fireball in the beta trying to do a setup after Super 1
