Disappointed that there weren’t more legs with the “full body” workout. Also prefer the real-time exercises and not the pause and do on your own…

Hi, just watched your video and it is the first one that made sense to me and i have watched a lot. Thank you for explaining things. I am in the UK and aged 64. I have been dieting and jogging round the park for almost a year now. Feel great have reached my weight goal but need strength training. So I will be doing this twice a week for 8 weeks. Hoping to build muscle if I can.

@@BeHealthyEnough Hi Amy, I thought i would let you know how my first session went. Bear in mind i do have a couple of health issues, so i modified some of the exercises. I had cancer 12 years ago and have lymphoedema in my left hand and arm and i have a compromised nerve in my neck. I used 3 kg weights and i found the exercises just challenging enough without being too much. I cannot do the bicycle exercise but modified it to keep my head on the mat and do the leg movements. I can do exercise with weights on my arms as i have built up slowly and was advised by my physiotherapist to do this a few years back. So all in all i felt great, i enjoyed the workout and because you warmed up and cooled down i did too...i am apt to leave that bit out and i know i should not. So thank you I will be continuing for a further 5 weeks then will upgrade my weights. Once again thank you it was so easy to work with you. I will if I may, keep you updated.

This was the first time I 'found' you and I did this workout this morning. I have been using moderate weights under someone else's guidance for months now, and while I know it was beneficial, I need to find someone to guide me with heavier weights. Thank you for this video!

You are so welcome. Having help is a great way to safely move up. Go slow listen to your body! I’ve see. So many people push it too fast then hurt themselves. So proud of you for doing strength training!!!

I really liked this. However, if someone has osteoporosis, the bike on the floor is not advised.

Hi Elaine! I know I am just learning all about osteoporosis finally and understand that spinal flexion is a NO NO. Thank you for watching and commenting!

Thank you Amy! I was so want to start weight training and did no where to start, and was intimidated. Perfect place to start for me. I am a little hesitant in browsing through all your videos since I may feel overwhelmed. Any general advice? Thank you again! :)
@BeHealthyEnough2 жыл бұрын
Hi Jackie. You are not my alone. So many women come to me scared to try. My advice is to go very slow. Try this routine for awhile. Only 2 days a week with about 2 days in between. Increase your weights slowly. Then when you get bored to tears give me a call or reach out. 😀. Thanks for watching and commenting

I'm new to your channel. I was searching for a weight training video I could follow to build up my strength more and body shape some more as well. I am in my early 60's and have been working with light weights for a couple of years now, and want to bump it up to heavier weights and pushing myself more. I was diagnosed 6 mos. ago with low grade osteoporosis from long term use of a med, and am feeling the push to up my game now. I've chosen this video to start this leg of my journey. I like your approach and you have a great way of speaking. Thank you. I'm planning on 2x week for now.
