Steam cleaning kills the dreaded bed bugs and pet smells and sterilizes items without chemicals. I steam-clean my carpets and it does make them smell fresher, that is just a domestic machine. Great video as usual Shelby.

In Canada a good hand held steam cleaner is about $250CAD. Or you can get a big carpet cleaner with the attachments (cleans stairs , furniture etc.) which i think range from $750-1000CAD. Honestly even having a little steam cleaner is worth it especially if you have dogs or kids. (I just moved into a new house with beige/white carpets and my dog decided to drag his butt across the carpet 🥲)

I have the little steam cleaner for spots and that was 200. A larger one for full carpets is like 800 or more USD. So I just pay for a service once a year.

Yes, steam cleaning is a great side hustle! My cousin has done it for years on the side and made enough for a house deposit. He’s also bought some machines that suck up water after flooding and he’s made lots of money from that too.

I have been plagued with middle of the night leg cramps for 2+ decades. the one thing i've found that relieves them quickly is pickle juice. I hear apple cider vinegar also works. I also take B-12 and magnesium regularly which seems to have lessened the frequency.

You are closer to Sam and can hop on a plan whenever you miss your family in CA. Also, you said you need to increase your budget and that would only be a New York thing to do, rent in LA is much cheaper than in NY.

I often get Charlie horses while I’m sleeping and I’ve found it helps to make your foot flat when it happens. It helps release the tension. Don’t know a cure to completely get rid of though

I _think_ you might do something close to where Sam is! I love that you're keeping this to yourself though. You don't need everyone's nose in your business and one of the reasons why I love your channel is that you don't overshare. I love watching you, but I understand I'm an audience and not your friend who requires personal or intimate details of your life. It's a very healthy way of going about being a KZbinr. 😊 Edit: This would probably make good main channel videos. Usually the people you hire to steam clean the carpets have truck mounted systems. The heat, pressure and suction power they offer, you will never get with the carpet cleaners you buy. These people also have access to better chemicals and cleaners. The home cleaners are full of detergents. You probably don't care, but there's a reason why they charge what they do. haha

It's the most stressful thing for anyone even when you already have it all planned out, but just remember it's all going to get done and it's all going to be exactly how it's meant to be! Random question, but Seattle is on my list of places I’d like to live…I’m not a summer fan..(currently melting from the humidity and hating all the mosquitoes and bugs 😂) what is Seattle really like in the summer? Does it get buggy and humid? Also, in terms of cities I think you’re going to check out…LA, or another Californian city, possibly NYC, the city where Sam lives perhaps, maybe Boston? 🤔. You could end up picking something totally out of left field like Austin, or Vegas that is close to Palm Springs, hot and tax free lol. Would you ever consider moving abroad for a year?
