And yeah I believe you're right in thinking that the kewpie mayo were for the eggs, or at least, that's how I'd normally have it! Snacking on lil boiled eggs with some kewpie mayo while waiting for my bowl of ramen to be ready, which they're extremely quick with btw! Flavor's great, service is straightforward and fast, keisuke never misses!

There are many amazing ramen places in Singapore! One place i highly recommend is Ramen Nagi at Suntec City and their "Green" ramen. They make some of the best ramen comparable to the best in Japan. Another is Ramen Taisho, a small locally owned ramen place that used to be a hawker stall but turned into a small restaurant.

@@jeekyboi9564 tap water in Singapore is drinkable and free (well not quite.. its water bill lol, unless u just decide to fill it somewhere else... or prior to covid, they used to have those free drinking water fountain all over places where ppl can just fill their water bottle or drink directly... am not sure now), anyway asia in general not many are used to the idea of drinking tap water without boiling them, i still boil tap water from hotels even tho they mentioned tap water is drinkable... placebo of some sort i guess.😂 tldr, paid bottled water culture is still a thing, eventho tap water anywhere in Singapore is supposedly safe to drink. 19c is one of the cheaper alternative they have , the imported ones (evian aqua fiji etc) are more expensive. xD
@cancanjaker16202 жыл бұрын
I don't know where that is but the normal price for a bottle of water is closer to 55-60 cents (cheapest). And yes, the water straight from the tap is drinkable. Most locals don't drink it directly, but when the sun is hot and all the vending machines in the vicinity are sold out, we do sip a few drinks from the tap.

Ramen is always good but especially when you are drunk. Not stumbling and throwing up drunk obviously but when you've reached that peak level of intoxication and are read to go about town with your friends. Nothing like some amazing Ramen to sit down and eat while you talk and maybe order another glass of wine. I typically consume the best food sober so I can savour and remember the experience, but this is like a New York pepperoni slice man, once you've tried it, it's etched into the back of your brain and you will always want it lol.

The first time I tried enishi years ago (2018?), I had the Dan Dan, and I was like, this is the best ramen in Singapore hands down. At the time the Chef was a middle aged Japanese guy, super authentic stuff with Fantastic service (certainly service you don't find in Singapore often enough). You just have to time it right because the shop is small, and the queue can get long. And maybe that's the only downside of this attention - there'll be even longer queues now, and I sure hope they can keep their quality up. These sorts of places do especially good when they serve the Goldilocks zone of the right number of people.
