i tried making this, and it was super good! i didn't expect it to be easy, and i was expecting my result to be hard, tasteless bread (since that's how my other beginner attempts had turned out :')), but it turned out to be very fluffy and soft! i didn't have a 30 C setting on my oven, so i left mine in the fridge for about 3 and a half hours to rise before releasing the air and making creases. i REALLY recommend this recipe (and i also recommend really getting your garlic sauce in between the creases, because my stubborn self didn't follow the directions by only making shallow creases and ended up with very minimal garlic and cheese flavor lmao so i made the remaining garlic into a sauce instead), thanks so much for the recipe!! ♥ EDIT: tip: only use the fridge tip if you live in an area hot and humid enough that it can't stay outside for too long. i live in a tropical country and my bread dough tends to turn sour when i leave it outside or in the oven, so it definitely depends on the weather/climate you live in! read the replies, they're super helpful!

I made this, and I'm actually coming back to comment bc it was exactly as easy as it seems. It was the easiest, most well behaved bread I've ever made, entire process was done in two hours. It is a fairly small dough (200g s around 1+1/2 cups) but the portions we're still really good for 4 people. A little note, u can never add too little cheese, but if u add more cheese, consider switching to the broiler for the last minute or two to make sure it's nicely browned and the mound of cheese u may or may not have added properly melts. Also 1tsp minced garlic is like maybe two cloves, generously. U could easily do three, even four cloves. Also added oregano, only bc the green onion looked kinda lonely. It was delicious and I'm making it again tomorrow for a family gathering.

For how long did you had to knead the dough? Does it take too long to form into a perfect soft dough?
@ellimiller86203 жыл бұрын
@@incredibleme8473 maybe about 3 minutes to get back to the right consistency after adding the butter, but I did end up kneading it for an extra minute or two past 5 min to get it to a good smoothness level. But definitely let it have that 10 min bench rest. I'd say when in doubt, prioritize kneading less over making it smooth. The more u knead the denser it'll become, whereas sometimes u can knead for 30 minutes and it still won't be smooth (speaking from experience). Also, please make sure u have a scale. The second time I made this, I didn't have access to a scale, mismeasured the flour by maybe 20g worth, n by the time I realized, I ended up having to over-knead. Luckily still tasted good, tho!

Flour 000 works probably better or all purpose (550). 2. Mine took 1:30 h to grow - be patient, it is worth it. 3. Next time I will use more butter garlic mixture but this is just my taste to have it more garlicy. :) Thanks again and for those who are watching, enjoy this delicious treat!

I just made this recipe in an air fryer (I don't have a toaster oven)! Here's how my experience went as a beginner baker: This tasted really good! Though like I've seen other comments say, make your creases pretty deep! You'll probably really want to get the sauce and cheese between the cracks to make it more flavourful. My bread came out way darker than the video but I'd say it's probably cause I added a lot more cheese (like all over the top with mozzarella and cheddar cheese lowkey looked like cheese pizza haha) and also my air fryer temperature settings could only be changed in increments of 10ºF. I ended up baking it at 340ºF for 13 mins (it was already pretty brown by that point) but it was still slightly raw inside so I baked for another 3 mins at 330º. Overall kneading this was way easier and more successful than my attempts at kneading dough for milk bread lol. Definitely will attempt to make this again and recommend others to try this! ^_^

One of the best recipe I found ! Tips for westerners : I’m not a fan of « sweet/salty » taste so reduce the sugar measurements. I only put one teaspoon in the mixture. And for the « topping » mixture I don’t put any sugar, no mayo either, lots of garlic, butter, the rest of the egg + fresh parsley. Thank you ❤
