It took me almost a year to come back and tell my story because I don't want to jinx anything, so here goes: Last year, my boyfriend of 3 years broke up with me around June and then we didn't talk for 2 whole months or more. (We were 22 last year) . Our breakup in a way, was hard for me to accept because we were so good together. No cheating, no bad things. We fight often yes but we have more good times than bad. But one day he just decided that he was not good enough for me, blah blah blah. So in those 2 months of being single I focused on myself while watching your videos. I started loving myself again. I muted him and just avoid viewing his profile because I was moving on. BUT. Whatever I do, whatever I post, my boyfriend will be the first to like or respond (but i ignored him, no contact rule right) And then out of nowhere after absolutely no contact with him, he reached out to my friend and asked her about me. My friend asked him to talk to me instead and on that night he did. I responded but you can clearly see I treated him like a stranger. Then we didn't talk for another week and finally he decided to meet up. By now I already know what he wanted to do: Win me back. It was obvious really, especially after watching your videos. We were long distance, still is. So he drove 2 hours to see me in his car that we first hang out in (even though the brake was not working, dangerous I know) And then he dressed up too. When i saw him i knew instantly that he was trying to impress me. He was so awkward when i got into the car while i acted like we are friends. And then he confessed that he couldnt sleep because of me, he was really anxious and excited at the same time. I still haven't respond though, I was being distant. He gave up on us after all, I was broken for two months. So i was happy that he was broken too. Evil I know but we all know he deserve it. After all he gave up on us after 3 years because he was a coward and couldn't accept that relationship needs a lot of work too, especially when we are long distance since day 1. It didn't take him long before he told me he wants us to be together again, that he made a mistake. Surprisingly, we didn't rush back into a relationship. We decided to flirt with each other again, text and tease each other while we're away . He would often tell me he loves me but I will only respond 'I know you do.' instead of 'i love you too.' After a month, back and forth texting and calling, acting like it was our first time being in love again. Finally he came to see me again on my graduation night on September last year and then asked me to be his girl officially. I said yes. We both know that we are still in love with each other but too immature to communicate. And then we have been together ever since. We changed a lot after our break up, it was as if the break up was a wake up call for us really. You can say we've grown from it and took the break up as a lesson. We recently celebrated our 4th year anniversary at Taiwan (our first trip together). I hope my story can help some people. Just remember what the coaches said: Love ourselves first. Then everything else will fall into your hands before you know it :)

One lucky story... 9 months in a relationship, friends for 2 years before that. Broke up with me saying they still love me, just to end up sleeping with someone within a month after the break up. Doesnt seem to be wanting me back at all. Its been 6 weeks till break up. 1 week since NC round 2.. Your story is one I wish would happen to me but I dont think its gonna happen anymore. Hello and sorry for my english 🙈 My bf left me because like he said - he has no feelings for me. We were living together as soon as we begun to date. Yup, it is very soon, but this all happened of specific circumstances (my flatmate has left). After 6 months from our relationship begining I lost my job and got some kind of depression. I didnt wanted to find a job, meet my friends and etc. Then i was just waiting everyday at home for him to come back. About money - i had my own money for some time. So other 6 months i was at home. No hobbies, no friends, nothing... Just him. In that time i started to fell that he is no more so interested in me. We tried to talk about whats going on between us And why. He often have been saying that he would like if i start to going to gym again. Before we met, i was often in gym. And i remember that he said that because of gym he went to The first date with me. But while we was in relations i almost forgot my gym, friends, love for myself... I think it is one of the problem why he left me. Other problem i think is that i was doing nothing at all. Maybe he just tired from me. Because i was always near him...before job, after job, at evenings, in weekends. I think i was near him too much. He has no time to miss me... Now when we have to move out of that flat in witch we were living, we see each other time to time while we take our all stuffs to new living places. So after i will see him for last time (2019-07-16) when i return him this flat keys i want to try get him back. I want to change myself, become the best version of me. But i dont think that 30 days will be enough for no contact period. I know this summer he is really busy with work And there will be no time to miss me. I think i need 60 days of nc at least. He has many friends, big family, so he never is alone. In next month he planned to rent a flat for himself. And i hope so that it will be that perfect time for nc period. Because as we broke up about a month ago And he comes to take part of his stuff i asked if he missed me even a bit. He answered that he has no time for it. And i really understand it. Cause Now he is living with his big family in village... In that time of 60 days or even more nc period, i want to find some job, again love myself, get back in shape at gym And i know places where we can accidently meet(at The church in his village). I really liked that church a lot its more lovely than churchies in city i am feeling there like in home. And i would like to go every sunday there Now, but i know, that this will be wrong. So Now i am walking to less atractive churchies....anyway i believe in God and with His help And your advices everything is possible. I really hope so. Coach, thank you cyz of you i learned to be patient. I only stay in touch with her for now for 1 year and yes iam still patient not rushing things sometimes she contacts me sometimes i, sparks mix signals are still there. And i have a question ... some weeks ago i found that she screnshoot some of our conversation and send do her friend and her friends doesn't like me and they made mee too much drama , she doesn't know this. I broke up with my ex almost a year ago. Mainly because she was texting someone else a lot while we were on holiday together. She had just met this person while on holiday in germany with her family. She said they had a connection as they had been through similar situations. When i asked about why she was always on her phone texting that person she got mad and said did i not trust her? She told me she was just talking to them about stuff and that she had no interest in that person she just liked talking to them because they had good conversations. I asked could i see the messages and she got mad said why did i not trust her and changed her password on her phone. She stopped talking to that person and deleted their number. However we still broke up as i didn't believe everything that she was telling me. After that holiday we said we still be friends and we kept in touch and met up every few weeks. Anyway a few weeks later we were talking and she told me how she wants to move to germany once she finishes her degree here. Of course I got mad and upset because she was planning to leave this country and move to where the other person she was talking to is from. After a while she followed the person again and liked every posts they posted on instagram and told me she didn't do nothing wrong and that she doesnt have to do what i want and that we arent together. Even though when we met up she was all over me at times. We stopped talking for awhile around christmas however we had another holiday booked for january which we ended up still going on as friends. Anyway i was really depressed and she bought me a book to read which she also read before she gave it to me it was about planning your life and how to achieve your goals. Anyway while we were on holidays i went in her bag to get deodorant and saw a page that she had written her plans and goals on, i know i shouldn't have read it but i did. She was still planning on moving to germany and at the end of the list it said she wanted to be in a healthy relationship within the next two years. She had wrote she'd like to be with someone who is Irish OR German (I'm Irish) Blonde or ginger hair, mines brown. and a list of characteristics she's like that person to have a few of which i have. She was till all over me kissing me etc on this holiday and I stopped kissing her back after i read that. I felt sick so i told her she got mad and said it was personal. She told me she wrote it when she thought we'd never be together again. Anyway we continued to keep in touch after that holiday however the past few months I've been really depressed and needy. I'm currently blocked on everything and she said she never wants to talk to me again. Do you guys think what she did was wrong? Or am I in the wrong? I'm not sure if she's done wrong or my insecurities and overthinking destroyed everything. I'm trying no contact but i dont think it will work

Hey Olly K, was she being secretive about this person she was talking to? Did she talk to you about them, who they are, and the conversations they and your ex have? The issue here is that you tried to control her behavior by asking her not to do certain things, but at the same time she shouldn't have been doing those things in the first place. Regardless, you need to move forward and figure out a way to value yourself and believe in yourself more. Let's start by reviewing your last sentence: "I'm trying no contact but I don't think it will work." Rephrase to, "I'm doing no contact, and I believe it's going to work to get her to miss me and re-establish communication" - Coach Adrian

By the way the person was a waiter in a restaurant she was at which i found strange as to why they'd exchange contact details, she told me because he was going to give her some recommendations of things to do & eat. When i ask would she show me the conversation she wouldn't and changed her password. I agree with what you said that I was being controlling which i shouldn't have been. Help! My long distance ex got back in contact after two weeks of no contact to wish me a happy new year. We didn't end badly but the relationship did have its problems, many of which came from me and I had started to work on them but it was too late at the time. In my heart I believe in time we can get it right. We wanted a future together. She sent me a picture of the Xmas card I had posted (I sent it after she broke up with me). She contacted me a lot sooner than I expected. I replied the next day and wished her a happy new year. I don't know what to do next - her birthday is next Monday, do I wish her a happy birthday? Plz coaches answer this I would really appreciate it. I saw text message of my ex with a few girls after I told him he can’t text other girls things he’s not supposed to text. We had clear boundaries. When I saw them I broke up with him and he also left saying he made a mistake but he’s going through a lot so my forgiveness is not his priority rn. I really need your advice because I don't know how to focus. Since some years ago I began to learn by myself. I tried to learn economic, programming computer, electronic, I wanted to be a blogger but I just get +13k views. My native language isn't English and I have some years learning it by myself. Actually I'm deseperate because I'm studying engineering but I like programming and I need to improve my English but I'm studying engineering and I don't have enough time to learn programming and English together. Which one should I focus between programming or English thinking of my future. My career isn't related with programming but I like it. The little English I know is because I have learnt by myself by apps. I want to change the world, I want to do something useful like a movil or web app. When I was studying economic by myself, I learnt somethings like GDP, inflation and others things and I read some books like The Richest Man in Babylon, Wealth of Nations, Rich Dad Poor Dad and others books.. I am studying an engineering that I don't like but assuming it's late to give up and I need to finish my degree. What I really like is programming but I can't give up my engineering degree now so I want to learn programming by myself, I know basic concept about it because I was studying Java but I gave up, I was studying Python but I gave up, I was studying HTML5 but I gave up. I'm 19 so I think that I have enough time yet. I'm going to take it seriously because my dream is to get a job as a programmer and if it's abroad better. To make reality my dream, do you recommend me to learn English or programming first? I dream studying at Harvard or MIT computer science but that is almost impossible, if you were me and you want to reach success, do you focus only on your engineering and improve your English or you give up English and begin learning programming?

For most people in the world, you need to suck and not make any money in whatever it is you want to do before someone recognizes your talent and efforts. JUST DON'T GIVE UP AND KEEP GOING! As far as learning English goes, watch movies and KZbin videos, and write out the dialog (you can use pen and paper, or a computer, whatever is fastest). To be honest, I have no idea why your ex girlfriend, or anyone for that matter, would go back in the closet. That is very strange behavior indeed, but the best thing you can do is let her sort those issues out on her own. When breakups happen, sometimes folks take it too personally and think something is wrong with them. I hope that is not the case with you because clearly there is no way you could have done anything to "make her straight." Right? We had little arguments that sparked up from stress but we always resolved those issues by the end of the day. Theres a video of me and her on my youtube channel. Hey Krystle Cikos, I'm sorry to say, but I don't think there's anything you can do to get your ex back until he decides to remove the restraining order. However, if you did nothing to warrant that restraining order and he's just being an @$$hole, I recommend you find legal avenues to get it removed or at least sealed so it doesn't show up on any background checks for jobs, etc. - Coach Adrian
