Dave fucking slays. Ian is a rock god. Together it’s otherworldly. Melts me. I have listened to this performance a million times and still listening. ❤️

It actually pisses me of that Ian isn’t more recognized. He’s too fucking good. And Dave McMillan is a sick bass player

Can't think of a more legendary duo than Thornley with Dave McMillan on bass.

I just seen big wreck in winnipeg fflr the 20th anniversary tour it was the best show I've seen along with when Chris Cornell did his higher truth tour I seen that as well. Ian Thornley is the only guy who could do Cornell. He was asked to be lead singer of velvet revolver and turned it down because he couldn't see himself being a front man without a guitar.

Where's Ben Eller? No Ibanez allowed! I love the SUHR factory event every year. Andy's "The Hardest Goodbye" is my favorite (last year with Eller). Two of my favorite guitarists on one stage. Oh and the bassist McMilan is a beast in this song. Ian's best performance was Big Wreck last year. His singing and playing was the best I've seen.

fuckin sick bass -- all very there tape wound strings?

Sounds like a subtle Ritchie Kotzen! awesome! ps. sorry for my ignorance.
@locrian85576 жыл бұрын
No ignorance, I have just been listening to Ritchie and you're right, similar. But I would encourage you to listen to more Big Wreck, he is anything but subtle given the song, he can belt right up there with Ritchie!
@markyboo4 жыл бұрын
I love it, but it's a lot rougher than the previous Suhr Factory Event performance of this tune. That is my absolute favorite live rendition of any song ever. This is a lot looser and experimental. Which is fine, but not something I want to listen to over and over again like 2015's.
