Jerma accidentally made a point about modern versus older movie soundtracks, he felt the newer one needed the pictures to work while the older one could work on its own. Soundtrack shouldnt copy the emotions on the screen but enhance it. Jaws for example, starwars, its the music that we remember. Nowadays its harder to remember the music from a movie because it doesn't say anything more than the picture does.
