i started the Summer with an 10 days break so that my Body can completely shut down from Sport activities but then i got ill🤣 but now i am back at work so don’t forget to Rest in Summer but not too much 😉

nvm i cant ignore these great videos during summer, i 100% agree with these tips i am trying my best to use this summer to train as hard as i can for university tryouts that will come up at the end of this summer, The tip i am mostly foucesed on is breaking training boundeires mostly working on my left foot thanks for the great video and great tips.

build the habit of good conditioning - all your rehab work that I presume you're doing will help you take gym/mobility work more seriously than most. Also study the tactical/strategic side of your sport

What would you say is an optimal amount of sport training compared to gym work? I’ve been told I don’t recover enough but when I cut down I feel like I could be doing more haha. I’m looking at 6 days per week football training paired with 4 days a week gym. Great video 🙌

Really depends on the sport, as well as the actual volume + intensity of all your workouts/sessions. Your best bet is actually consulting with a football-specific strength & conditioning coach to help you craft the ideal program

Im able to do all of this throughout July BUT, How can i optimise my days while i am on Holiday? Im having a beach holiday for 10 days, 1 day at home, then 7 days beach holiday again, 4 days at home then i have my summer camp with my club, THEN 1 day break at home then visiting my old city wich i grew up in. August is a month packed with vacations and i would like if someone could give me tips on how to still try and maintain my training regime, talking about (gym work, plyometrics and ball control) Volleyball. Great video also!

everyone needs a holiday and some rest. It's fine to enjoy yourself for 7-10 days if you've got a summer break of 6-8 weeks

I'm sleeping Very late because of the euros even though i don't want to and i Will probably continue like this because when I will get to my village i will continue this. Is it a good idea to train plyometrics in the morning for about 40 min and in the afternoon/ evening train the technical side like shooting,dribbling, first touch/ ball control or passing for abt 2 hours. I’m 12 btw

Plyometric exercises are highly demanding. Performing them after technical training can ensure that you are not too fatigued to maintain proper form during technical drills.

Would it be idea to train every week for 7 days only one ability like shooting then next week dribbling etc? Of course in dribbling week I would still shoot but less more because I wil be focused on dribbling. Is it going to work?

Skill isolation like that is good to address weaknesses in your game. The only thing is it can get boring quickly

You know some people work jobs too outside of soccer right? These kind of schedules are so counterintuitive. Working mindlessly and not actually enjoying yourself and your time off is how to A) Injure yourself and B) Play like shit, and C) Over stimulate yourself and loose interest in your own passion. Most athletes and top pros don’t train and live like this. They are gifted beyond imagination, live and enjoy life the way they want to, and still beat the shit out of everyone when it comes to game time. You should focus on yes improving, but even more on relaxing and enjoying life, and you’ll see you’ll improve even more.

The example was from one athlete I work with. I work with others who also work part/full time alongside their sport and obviously their schedules differ greatly. In any case, every athlete I work with prioritizes a schedule that is sustainable and enjoyable for them as an individual.
