Hi Lydia. Your on a roll. I was wondering if you could film something in the future about matching or mismatching accessories like whether shoes and bag should match or belt and bag and how does it affect an outfit...... can i wear woven bag and knotted shoes ? Also textures if one can match suede with leather or satin with linen..... some fabrics go together others don’t I haven’t a clue. Im one of those people who when i wear linen - i wear top and bottom same because i just don’t know how else ro mix and match.

I would love a slip skirt, but living in the south and older I have always been taught growing up to wear a slip under your skirts not like this. 🤔 The “Black Curriculum” sounds like the controversial “Critical Race Theory” that’s being taught in US schools. - They’re teaching children (as early as 5 yrs) that they’re privileged & inherently racist due to their skin color. So parents have been protesting at US school board meetings across the nation. In GB activists have started a similar movement to “decolonise” maths /engineering /sciences that’s spread to the universities. - They believe that race should be the defining principle of what is studied and the fundamental purpose of education. It can be a divisive subject. 😂

I'm a first generation American with English parents, and I was raised in the American South. I've always been very aware of classism (which was one reason my parents left GB) and racism (which was a clear part of my society), but having conversions about these issues from a young age helped make me a better person. Ignoring the parts of history that we should be learning from perpetuates division and the dangerous idea of "us vs. them". Whether or not you agree with the current movements, surely we can all come together to be more kind and inclusive. Because the opposite is just ignorant and mean.

@Tripple Rainbow. You only read a short blurb on the site meant for prospective donors and people who don’t really want to know the truth...before furiously typing that long winded attack. The founder has stated that she believes racism is “inherent” (look it up) in whites. Her plan is to expand the Curriculum to educate whites on their “unconscious bias” (i.e. 8-11 year olds). - In other words, teaching vulnerable innocent school children that their skin color makes them intrinsically bad. Complain to the NYT and other magazines, if you believe they misrepresented her. Universities are teaching the new political activists how to quietly push their agenda. If you refuse to see the connection between the US/UK political activist groups, and believe that you are intrinsically racist because of your skin color, then I can’t help you.

That, along with early conversations about many negative societal "-isms" and topics I was exposed to in SCHOOL made ME strive to be anti- racist. I'm sorry you felt attacked by me using these examples to defend the ideas of teaching about race in school and having discussions about inclusivity from a young age. I absolutely love the all black outfit, however, Being only 4’9, those sleeves coming down past the fingertips is a huge no no! It would completely ruin the outfit by making it look like I am wearing clothes that are just way too big for me! Just don’t find that particular look flattering on anyone.
