I picked clothes that I hope are flattering and fun all women no matter what age. I also needed to talk about a lesson I learned this week…a lesson learned the hard way. I pay tribute to all that have served our country. My two encounters with Veterans ( one was Billy) taught me a great lesson that I wanted to talk to you about. Thank you so much for being here. I love the jumpsuit, but I especially love those pants with the flowing wings and the green top truly looks lovely with them. The black & white horizontal summer dress also looks wonderful along with the hat that adds a dose of gaiety to the overall look. Bottom line I get the impression you could put on a dirty towel and make it look like a ballroom gown. Your outward and inward beauty is easily framed. As for assumptions I have made it a life long practice to take a detour whenever I see a glimpse of one entering the corners of my mind. We hardly know our own feelings, which makes it a difficult task to assume we know others. What you believe you learned from it all sounds like a lesson well reflected on. You look great in all the outfits! The trick to Walmart is to shop often. When new arrivals come in, mediums sell out first. To avoid crowds, shop between 7:30-9:30 am. (They have to remove their overnight stocking boxes off the floor by 7:30 am. The store will have been cleaned and organized overnight).

We do assume ideas, think on certain matters how we would perceive it. But, it is not projecting our own feelings, we are trying to be respectful if we were in their shoes. You reached out to both of them with a loving, caring and compassion filled heart. That's a good thing...a very good thing. We need more love and compassion in this world. Hey Susan! My daughter and I were at the VA when my husband was sick. They had Silence of the Lamb on TV. My daughter said, "Mom, I don't think this is something the Vets should watch. From the back of the room a gentleman said, We've seen worse! We both looked at each other and shrugged our shoulders. What do we really know? I have the black striped dress too! It's so comfy! I was at a family reunion this weekend. My aunt let us know that the basement we were meeting today isn't air-conditioned. I ran to Walmart near our hotel and got another one in a multi-colored stripe. Love it! Love your stories about Bill!

I love your blog. My daughter just had double mastectomy on wed. We are in Florida, where hurricane Michael came in fall. Our lives are still upside down. You bring me hope, glamour , laughter and tears. All good things. I'm in process of downsize too. I love French country and so am looking forward to a new chapter in my life. Well this was another beautiful video Susan...the part about the vet really got to me. My stepdad is a veteran, my dad was a veteran, and most of all my son has put 20 years in the Air Force and is retiring in September this year...veterans deserve so much more than our country gives them....I enjoyed your try on, and I have seen those other videos on Walmart outfits....well my Walmart sure doesn’t carry anything I would want to wear...the store has been a mess now for months and you can’t find anything...but I really liked the outfits you have.
