Y&T should have been huge, a band that had the songs the talent but the rock gods didn't smile down on them

I’ve been waiting for and have been suggesting Y&T to many, many reactionaries but not until now am I seeing it finally coming true. This is their radio hit in the day, but do the deep dive into some of their great songs, Rescue Me and Forever are two of my favorites. My ultimate favorite Y&T song is Ten Lovers off of their Ten album, such a great song. Stay Cool 😎 and… \m/ Stay Metal \m/

I remember Y&T being super popular in the San Francisco/bay area. I am surprised she hadn't recognized this song as it got a ton of airplay and I think was on MTV a lot too. For one of their songs she might like that is a little more representative of thier material, maybe try "Rescue Me" or for one she might not like (because of the reference to abusive women :P ) try "Mean Streak"?

Lenard Haze stole the show in this video!!! RIP Leonard, Joey and Phil.. EVERYBODY was cheesey in the 80s LOL As far as live bands.... You could not TOUCH Y & T!! I saw them open for Motley and they blew them away!

Do you people need some caffeine? Maybe some speed? This music video is great! It's so full of energy and you react like people in a retirement home watching "Matlock" reruns. As for criticizing the 80s, it was a great decade to live in and the so called "sexist" nature of videos then was nothing compared to music videos these days, especially (c)rap videos.

Although the Y&T of the 80s had some great tunes, give some (not all) of the early raw stuff a listen. But I highly recommend their '94 after a long hiatus Musically Incorrect. Give it a listen... time off, more mature and skilled, answering to no one else,... like the early days but polished. Please reply with any possibly influences you think they had.

Dude, what you need to understand, when music videos first came out, they were ALL cheesy, it was all new, like everything, how can you expect for music videos top grade ,when they were just coming out?
