Why did your wife not like the guitar solos can you make her understand that guitar solos are everything when it comes to rock and heavy metal. Yes! The Eighties metal was definitely a boys club. If you wanted to go to a concert back then with lots of women around, it was Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Cinderella, Poison, Motley Crue and even Scorpions. But women metal musicians were few and far between. Lita Ford, Vixen and Heart were about all I can think of. But most of that is more POP than Metal
