Sunny stars Rashida Jones as Suzie, an American woman living in Kyoto, Japan, whose life is upended when her husband and son disappear in a mysterious plane crash. As “consolation” she’s given Sunny, one of a new class of domestic robots made by her husband’s electronics company. Though at first, Suzie resents Sunny’s attempts to fill the void in her life, gradually they develop an unexpected friendship. Together they uncover the dark truth of what really happened to Suzie’s family and become dangerously enmeshed in a world Suzie never knew existed.

Great premise, awesome cast and a very good trailer (perhaps a little too much information in the second half, bus that's ok for me), and to top it, a great soundtrack! For those who are wondering, the song that is played throughout this trailer is the theme song of the film "Tokyo Drifter", a neonoir Japanese film directed by the great master Seijun Suzuki, in 1966. And I think this song represents what I enjoyed the most in this trailer: it seems like the producers tried to produce a mashup of Japanese science-fiction series from the 60's, with the hip design of robots (a little reminiscent of Ultraman), and Japanese neo-noir films from the same period! I hope it's as good as the trailer suggests.
