Thank goodness you are mechanically inclined and able to do your own repairs. This rebuild is a fun experience for your son. I'm happy to see Snowflake is on the mend and sporting himself to the ladies. He's back in the game.

I have a 1987 350cc Moto 4. It was well cared for by the previous...and first owner. All I would need to do to make it look brand new is repainting the cargo racks and doing the heat gun trick to the plastic.

I'm late, but over from ,H.H. Farm, You look somewhat live Kevin. Like your video. From FREDERICKSBURG, VIRGINIA. LIVE IN STAFFORD, County. A lot of Civil war places. We used to have a lot of woods, but now, We have Big ass homes in every hole, farms are gone, it's sad for the old folks, but time marches on. Ninety percent of the new homeowners are great.& love all the young people, and they are very hard working , and have to go to Washington, D.C. every day. Bumper to bumper , Am, & Pm,.It's crazy. God Bless.

I have a 1985 yamaha moto 4 200 I bought it when I was 12 (I’m 18 now) for $325 all the money I put in it is a carb rebuild and it’s been more reliable than my hunting rig and all my dirt bikes not once have I had a problem with it. The old Yamahas have almost bullet proof engines, I also bought a 1986 yamaha xt350 for $200 not running been sitting for 5-10 years all I did was rebuild the carb and it’s running. But I’m putting more money to fix it up and bring it back to life

For your rims on your truck. When you go to put it back on sand the back of the rim where it contacts the steel and put antiseze on it. And you won’t have an issue again.

4:40 the hole is factory, it's supposed to have a tube going to the frame right in front of the air box. The inlet is under the gas tank 👌

Yes, know those weeks very well bud. Hope things go better for you. Didn't get a notification on the video and was wondering about you and saw this video. That's crazy, never saw a tire get stuck on a vehicle that bad. When it did, it was just the center hub. Glad to read that snowflake is back to his old self. My week has been mending this 2nd burn with blisters that were the size of a golf ball. Now that the burn is fading, looks like maybe infection setting in. Don't go tubing down the river for 4 hours and forget to put on sunblock. Not fun, especially being diabetic and lower legs. So cheer up mate 😁😁 Be safe, be good, God bless

The first yfm200 didn't have shocks. I have a 1984 yfm 200 so I'm certain that's not the first moto4 yamaha produced. The easiest way to tell a 1984 model is the front rack has a square opening and shallow basket design in the front. And the lack of suspension. Me and my kids rebuilt the engine and carburetor. Runs like it just came off the factory floor. It's to bad my nefew smashed it into a telephone pole and bent the frame ( he wasn't hurt) but it has never been rode since. Still runs great for a lawn ornament.

No offense at all, but it looks like an alien monster right now, lol. So excited to see you resurrect it to a lean, mean ATV machine. Can you do jeeps? Love the T-shirt too. I learned a valuable lesson first time I saw my son beat on his car-was tire/caliber/brake thing and he and friends just wailing on it. Man toys aren't like woman toys, which generally need tender care, man toys are built with metal generally and sometimes require hammering or crowbar work.

The rebuild kit you buy for cheap the parts fit but they are different and dont work as good as the genuine mikuni kit the emultion tube what the main jet fits in to is longer causing it to be to close to the bottom the jet is not as fine and also the pilot jet The mikuni kit cost more but is way more responsive
