They motivated me to do some occasional additional editing stuff that the Best Friends didn't ask me to do, just to see if anyone would say something about it. I always searched for "Billy" in the comments to see if anybody has something to say about me. And I assure you, I've read ALL of the comments that included "Billy". I suppose now would be a good time to confess. Billy ain't my real name, it's Minh T. I played a character named Billy in Fighterpedia. In order to respect my privacy and to keep my real identity a secret, when they talked about me, they used "Billy". The name just stuck. You can still call me Billy, but otherwise my preferred name is Soushin. I stream sometimes on twitch.tv/SoushinSen but I'm million times less entertaining than the Best Friends so I usually get maybe 3 viewers or less on average. Come say hi if you want to. It's really interesting to see the different directions their respective channels went. Matt does the scripted/ edited stuff, Pat sticks mostly to streams, Woolie holding the LP fort down, and I do like seeing Liam still dropping by. The fact that they cut the content once it no longer felt natural, they didn't want to force it, that's respect for us. Here's to everybody reminiscing, this was a special channel that can't be replaced. Don't spend to much time looking at your feet though friends, or you'll miss what's ahead of you.

In retrospect, it is very refreshing. The amount of gaming-related channels I watched religiously in my youth that have slowly become cynical, corporate, even downright exploitative shadows of themselves is astounding. It’s good to see that the Zaibatsu were mature and professional enough to recognize cracks in the foundation, and to not let personal resentments go unacknowledged for the sake of “brand integrity”. I have to admit, I was worried at the start of this video that pat had had a coronary or something, but I'm glad that's not the case. I don't do things like this in general, but real talk, you've meant the fucking world to me. When I was homeless I used to go to the library once a week and grab the latest podcast and I'd listen to it a couple of times making notes on things to google when I got back to a stable home with internet, I'm still working through that list today. You've been my opening page on chrome since I got out of that situation three or four years ago. I'm still trying to catch up with the 5 years worth of videos released while I was in that situation. I guess now I can take my time with them and savour it rather than trying to rush through it all while paying less attention. Thankyou for you. Never stop being you. You're amazing people. The saddest thing in this video was learning about Matt and Pat's friendship. I found the channel a couple years back through Two Best Friends Play Resident Evil 4. I love that game, and Matt and Pat were such a hilarious and fun duo that I found myself laughing and smiling all the way through. It has since become my favorite playthrough on KZbin, not just of that game, but ever. I watch it in its entirety multiple times each year. It never fails to cheer me up. When it came to survival horror games like Resident Evil, Silent Hill, or any random game they'd play during a Shitstorm, I knew I could always count on them to make it awesome. I gotta say, hearing Woolie say that Matt and Pat are no longer friends cuts really deep. Of course, nothing lasts forever so this outcome was something I've pondered for awhile. Of course, I never thought it would be this soon. Hell, we never got that DMC V play through. These guys will always be my favorite channel on KZbin, and they're the only ones whose channel I visited every day since I subbed, regardless of how busy I was. They've given me that tiny extra bit of joy that was sometimes all I needed to push through whatever I was dealing with since 6th grade. And they've given me more hours of excitement and hilarity than any show or film could hope to. So even now, I'm not just feeling sadness, though of course, that's there too, but gratitude, maybe even a little contentment. They chose to break it off on their own terms before it hurt their relationships more, and I'm excited for all their future endeavors. If this is how the channel ends, successful, having helped and touched so many, and having inspired so many other great content creators... that's a hell of a way to go.

Yeah I like a lot of what they’re up to now, I still keep up with the podcast and channels, and they all seem to be doing really well which is great, but it all definitely has a different appeal and energy to the old days. I don’t think we’ll ever find a real replacement for it. They all seem to have matured and mellowed with age too so even if they got back together I don’t imagine it’d carry the same manic, dude-bro, high octane energy it used to. Pain.
