@@spicenpans Hello Chef. Are the prawns peeled? And are the heads on? Also your recipe on the web page says two ounces of butter, but you say in the video one and a half ounces but it looks like one stick, which would be four ounces in most cases. Can you confirm the weight please? Thank You.
@spicenpans6 жыл бұрын
Claeon 👋 Hihi. Yes the prawn shell and head not kept intact. Just trim off the feeler and legs. As for butter, 2 ounces is fine but if you want your dish to be more buttery, you can add more. Sorry our weighing scale was not working so the weight of butter is not very accurate. We would recommend you to add per your personal preference.

can i use 2 teaspoon of condensed milk instead of sugar to make it creamier ?
@spicenpans5 жыл бұрын
Good morning, viki 91. We wouldn’t recommend you to do so because the sauce will become very sweet. If you want it to be creamier, you can boil it in the pan further to thicken it before adding the chicken. Alternatively, you can add some cornstarch solution to thicken the sauce too. Hope this helps. Happy cooking!

The version i love from Long Beach has the butter mixture crumbs sticking to the prawns and taste sooooo yummy. The sauce is not runny like your version. How do i achieve that?
@spicenpans7 жыл бұрын
+mspisces1995 Opp. We have no idea. Never tried that before. The butter mixture crumbs you’re referring to should be egg white. If it’s not as runny as ours then perhaps you can reduce the amount of evaporated milk? These are all just based our own imagination.
