I'm no pro, but I do smoke alot of meat and have done plenty of ribs.. The wife prefers oven baked because they seem come out the most tender and moist.. I personally do not remove the membrane. The membrane helps hold the meat on !!! TRUE... Also, there's no meat on the bottom 😮. So I don't waste alot of seasoning on the bottom, or sauce. I use the bend test for doneness.. Each rack gets wrapped individually for those 2 hrs @ 275-300. At that point sometimes they're done.. if not, unwrap and continue baking until they're done to YOUR liking. She likes "fall off the bone". I prefer a little pull😮. There no right or wrong way, it takes experimenting... Oh, and cut your ribs upside down, it's easier to see the bones.
@recipe4me5129 ай бұрын
All good stuff there. Also besides cutting upside down a lot of people like to cut next to the bone so that most of the meat is on one side. This is best if you cook you ribs with more chew like you said. The Air fryer ribs come out really tender but with more chew.

@@recipe4me512 Cooked it tonight for the wife and it looked just like yours inside and out and was as tender as a reasonable person could wish. I did give it 3 minutes on broiler at the end for some caramelizing. Used a commercial Carolina sauce and added a quarter or so more apple cider vinegar. I don't see how you could make them any better in the oven. Certainly NOT as good as the various styles I make out back but I am getting old and it is 100 in the shade in Fort Worth most of the time in the summer. I go one of two ways when I make these. Family meal style in which I make fried rice and the best can of peas I can find (usually leseur) or Cook out style with beans baked or pinto with potato salad and Mac Salad at a minimum. Cut up a tomato and a onion, put out some extra sauce and bon appetite. Good recipe. Been cooking Ribs for 50 years and made them in the oven countless time (Spent a lot of time in the snowy northeast and the rest in a blast furnace called Texas.) You pit masters keep putting up this stuff and I keep trying them and now you have them so good out of the oven that that the super convenience (especially for a experienced cook) is is more and more a better bet to do them in the oven. Thank you sir for giving me some more tools for my toolbox. Ribs are super low right now despite everything else being high. I made 75$ worth of tailor made BBQ for less than 10 bucks in groceries for my wife and I and there is plenty left for someone to have tomorrow even after a elderly heeler and Max the blind pug both got some rib action as did our 4 old inside cats and 3 old female feral cats who live more or less in our back yard and have for 11 or 12 years. It is patrolled hard by the town but we got them fixed and the gals stay home. Did not take with the boys. We get all of the strays fixed if we can catch them. Thanks again for a real innovative way to enhance the eating of Baby backs!!!
