You don't need to beat all stages - the game only cares about how many times you kill Bowser in world 8 - so you can use as many warps as you want. But of course, it is still quite tedious - I personally like to switch between Mario and Luigi for each playthrough, just to vary things up a bit.

To unlock World A-D you need to beat this game 8 times without using Warp Pipes

I thought it was just beat it 8 times at all. I've beaten it, between RetroPie and Wii, a total of 13 times,both versions have six or seven stars, and I've used warps every other playthrough.

Yeah, you can use warps. World 9 is the only world you can't get to without a 100% run

Luckily, you can get to Worlds A-D in the Super Mario All-Stars version after completing the main game once after completing World 9 or using warps.

why does bowser turn into a stone goomba after he gets killed by fire flower mario
@thecajunphoenix11 ай бұрын
Because only the Bowser at the very last level is the real Bowser. The other Bowsers have his favorite enforcers disguise themselves as Bowser.

On 11;31, lakita could cause an essential spring platform to despawn, wich was a huge mistake from nintsndo. If they had just make the spring to became part of a background, then such annoying despawn wouldn’t happen. Same thing with level 2 of world D were an enemy could also cause the essential spring to despawn because of this, ouch🥲

Worlds 9 and A are the only Worlds you cannot access through Warp Zones. To access World 9, you must clear the game from World 1-1 to World 8-4 without using Warp Zones at all. To unlock World A, you must first clear the game at least 8 times (you get a 🌟 each time you clear the game), and after that you hold the A button and press Start. In the All-Stars series, if you meet the conditions to access World 9, you clear it once, and you go straight to World A; however, that version uses save files, and if you use a Warp Zone after unlocking World 9, said World will disappear from your save file.

While the snes version of smb the lost levels does have no check points in world A to D. The famicom version does have checkpoints in world A to C. But bowser does not throw hammers at you in world A to D while in the snes version bowser does throw hammers at you in world A to D. So in paper the famicom version easier, but it is not because you can only contineu per world and not per level like you can do in the snes version. Also those hammer brothers in the snes version are coming after you while in the famicom version they are you standing still till a certain extend, phew🤣

I was able to beat world D by using the infinitive live turtle shell kick trick in world A-1 wich took me an insane amount of tries to do so, as it was extreamly hard to perform such trick, phew🤣 then i took a warp to world B and then i warped from that world to world D. I believe i died approximately 39 times with 17 lives left,phew🤣 Man It was that real intense hard. Especially D-1, since i died an insane amount of times in that level. also level D-2 was hard as the spring could randomly despawn thus making it impossible. Note: that i used a nes rom hack of smb the lost levels to play it on an actual nes. Not only that but you can get access to world A immediately by holding A and start atonce so you don’t have to beat the game 8 times in a row😆

😁😐 (Louis-Julien, 35 ans, 13.04.2022)

I thought this game was not as bad as what people think* and, usually, the ones that hate it are the people that are not good Mario players. *I thought it was better than SMB1. When looking at a group of successors to an original, all you can reasonably expect the sequel to be is better than the original! I think it is a success based on that. Some games are relatively easy, average difficulty, and some games are relatively hard! Neither description automatically makes a game a failure...

I just started streaming it... first time ever playing. and it has been torturing me for a week lol. It's not a bad game. But it is a frustrating one. I am NOT an elite Mario player, but It's gotten me into a "1 more try" mentality. It's just super hard to beat 3 levels on 4 lives. But when I do finally get it, it's magnificent. This player has obviously put a lot of time into this game, and he's very good at it. I couldn't beat all 16 of these secret levels without a single death in 1 go. It takes me hours just to get through the harder worlds (i currently have D left).

@@wolffiegaming I used to be an experienced Mario player and I did beat it with Luigi. I can't remember trying to beat it more than once. It's a long game. Still, it is better than SMB1. All of those games were hits as far as perspective. SMB1 was argubly the best game that most had ever seen up until 85. It's between this an Duck Hunt, but the best non-shooter definitely. SMBLL was better than that. SMB2(USA) was better than that and gave you the modern 2D Mario character look. Plus, if you play most of the levels with Toadstool and Mario, then it will also be challenging, as well. SMB3 was better than that, because it was by far the funnest to date and added many powerups to the originals. SMW was the funnest to date arguably, very challenging IF you did everything on the game, and the sound/music was the best so far. They all each got better and that means that the game was a success when the one before it was also a success...

@@pattrell5257 I would argue the average Player wouldn't find this game that fun. You have to enjoy dying over and over. It's a great game though if you can forgive the fact that you're gonna die. Mario 3 was when accessibility became a priority. Smb 3 isn't easy and has a great difficulty curve. But you can get so many lives and powerups. So anyone can do it if they want
@Peter_1986 Жыл бұрын
It is not just about whether someone is a skilled player or not; this game _is_ more unfair and arguably has a less elegant design than SMB1, and this frequently makes it overly frustrating. For example, there is that one part where you must become small Mario in order to be able to run across pits that are underneath a very low ceiling, and also all those backward warp zones that you can very easily run into by accident, and then also the extremely precise jumping during the wind stages. And I am not a bad player by any means; I literally beat this whole game 8 times in a row in one single night a few years ago, just so that I could unlock the secret A/B/C/D worlds (and I played several of those stages that same night), so I dare say that I am very good at this game, but I still found it quite annoying in a lot of places. SMB1 definitely has a better "flow", whereas SMB2 sometimes almost feels like a "Kaizô" fan hack or something, although SMB2 is certainly a good game as well.
