Hi Eli. A few years ago I worked in a service too (In Hungary-Budapest), we repaired electronic stuffs like alarm systems, security cameras and other electronics. But honestly, I never lied to our costumers and I really hate when someone lie and steal money from others...

Great job but I would take photo of your fault first then after the overcharge lie they give you, show them the photo and tell them this was a test for honesty in business and that they failed. Also tell them that you will do an online review of them about it and that you have a youtube channel also.

Here in Italy it's even worse. Almost every iphone I had my hands on that was serviced on one of those repair stores for just a broken glass, they took apart the original battery, and replaced it with a chinese one. And, you don't say, if you go there for a battery replacement, for an extra you can ask for an original one. Un-fricking-believable

i would just ask for the old part that was replaced. It helps when I repair my car too when the mechanic who does the work knows that I know they haven't done the repair and end up not charging me.

Well done, you did a great job your downfall here was you should have called her right out man!, she was trying to balance the argument and make it sound like she did that port you knew she dident you should have confronted her with the video and told her she was an out right lyer and trying to con you but you were to nice with her she or whoever looks at that phone was at it, the shop should be written off as a reair shop!
