The size of a Final Fantasy character in KH seems to be related in some way either to their importance or to their popularity. Cloud and Sephiroth get to be adults. Tidus, Wakka, and Selphie are kids, while the cast of FFX-2 are tiny fairies.

Sadly, popularity does not equal quality, as the best quality FF characters are the ones with the least screen time in Kingdom Hearts. Thus following your model, Tidus, Wakka, Selphie, and YRP are far better than Cloud, Squall, Yuffie, Aeris, and Sephiroth. Which, honestly, is objective fact.

at 30 minutes a vid? and lets say an upoad every day, they got like 40 days (from the posting of this comment) they need to finish the game's story in like 20 hours. now it's not impossible. for example, if these bumblefucks know where they are going and grind offsreen every once in a while and not give a shit about the super bosses (looking at you sephy, ghost asshole and dessert fucker) then it MIGHT happen...... but unless they inject some hour long episodes there is no chance in hell. they would need to spend 2 hours tops in every world. and considering these guy's sense of direction and general fumbling in anything RPG related, they might finish uploading KH1 by the time i finish KH3 (depending if i choose normal first or critical. and this aint me saying i'm good at the game. it's me saying i got annual leave for KH3 and KH1 is a long fecking game and can actually be hard if you dont know what the hell you are doing. heartless Riku fight is a BITCH if you go in unprepared.... which these fecks will defo do) BUT, if they do finish before KH3 releases, then all the props in the world to them. like for real thats some really awesome gameplay they put in to make that shit happen.

fun fact: holding your sword that way comes from the movie 7 samurai...where it was used on one of the cooler characters to show that he wasn't actually a samurai with real training, just a farmer with 10 lb balls of steel who managed to get his hands on some weapons and armor. that dude claimed he was a samurai...but understood what it was like for a farmer far too much. he also held his sword like a dumbass, compared to the other characters who are real trained OGs.

The parking lot is a canon place in KH lore. It was where Roxas confronted Sora. Sora saw the Dive Into The Heart, representing how Roxas was the intruder on his heart. Roxas saw the parking lot, cause he used to buy ice cream there. There are really deep connections to what the fight means to them and the stages they see.

@cannotthinkofaname Guess how we know you've never played Critical, Level 1 Only, or watch any speedruns of KH1. Magic is the most broken (as in useful) option in KH1, then Defense, then Attack. Picking the Wand or Shield over the Sword is always the best choice regardless of playstyle (especially on Proud and up), because it is far easier to just use a keyblade with high strength and an accessory or two to get close to where you would be if you picked the Sword originally.

I have really fond memories of this game. Starting when I first bought it I looked for it EVERYWHERE, no one had it, sold out etc. even a store with a large cardboard cut-out of the cover didn't have the game. I had given up hope after 2 or 3 weeks until I was with my parents in a dingy warehouse, buying a fan of all things, and there it was... In a glass display with a bunch of few other games, a sole copy of Kingdom Hearts. After that I played it through, shared it with my friends and took turns trying to beat bosses in the Coliseum. The disc is very much worn but still works. Many good moments of my childhood came from that game. I don't even care about the bloated sequels and storylines. For me, KH started and ended with the first one and it was perfect to my eyes.

Kingdom Hearts was the game that got me into gaming. The Best Friends was the channel that got me into KZbin. I’ve been dreaming of this LP for a long time. I know KH 1 hasn’t aged as well as KH 2, but hopefully there’s enough there for Matt & Woolie to still enjoy playing this game. Thanks for playing this one guys.

Heard Woolie announce this on the podcast and it was the first time in a long while I got so excited I audibly gasped. Even as a jaded Kingdom Hearts fan I still love seeing new comers play this game and experience the oddity that is Tetsuya Nomura. Also I can't wait until you guys finally manage break me and make post some inane comment about how your sucking at this boss fight or how easy this section of the game is DMC3 couldn't do it so let's see if Kingdom Hearts can.
