Finally took this thing out to do some pulls and it felt insane! Unfortunate situation but I'll fix it, gotta expect a few issues along the way with a build like this on an older car

Had 2007 Type-S in Nighthawk Black Pearl. Very reliable vehicle. Traded it in at 126k for my Tacoma about seven years ago. At the time, I had a RV3 J-Pipe installed. My only regret was not boosting it. That looks like such a fun car.

Nice vid Nick. Hitachi (aka OEM) coils are best. MSD coild for TL are actually junk. Check that both crankcase vents are venting (not plumbed to the intake/intake manifold)and make sure the NGK 2668 plugs are gapped to .022" (inches). Cheers!

Thanks Andy! Was actually gonna ask you before buying the MSD coils, good to know haha-will definitely check the crankcase vents when I change out the coils this week, hoping it’s resolved at that point because this thing is too much fun to not be driving it😅

Hey bro I just posted a full build breakdown video-but I’m tuned by Derek at IMW Tuned and I just use Amsoil 5W-30 motor oil! Andy at Gerzy Bear Performance will recommend you to do a redline fluid blend to keep your transmission healthy, I just haven’t had any time to get it done yet haha but will definitely put that in a future video!

Thanks bro! My trans was replaced with a low mileage one and it’s been perfect so far, I haven’t even done the fluid blend I was supposed to do to keep it healthy haha Regarding the flashing D light, maybe look into the pressure switches or the shift solenoids!

550cc Bosch but we hardwired them instead of using the pigtail adapters!

The stage 1 kit is good for up to 425whp on 93(I’m running 94 in my case) and rn it definitely felt like at least 400whp even running like garbage, so I’m curious to see if it’ll pull even harder with the new coil packs if that solves the issue!
