@@alaskavand1043 Hannah is one of the few superskinnies on the 8 seasons of this show that shows some eating habits of an eating disorder. The other superskinnies aren't like that and couldn't relate to an anorexic person at all. It isn't just about looking at a person even skinnier than them, it's about relating as well. Having a psychological disorder that forces you to starve yourself while you're going insane requires intensive longterm therapy to beat, not a meal plan. In size yeah, not in nutrients. Add some fiber or protein. Fruit. Anything, really
@mothmansboyfriend84425 жыл бұрын
I think it’s the fact that that’s all she eats without any fruit or anything nutritious. Even without that it’d be passable if she ate a bit bigger portions with more nutritional value later in the day, but since she doesn’t do that all crumpets do is get her digestive track going without anything to really digest
@mayplaysgames79784 жыл бұрын
I have a piece of healthy bread (no preservatives or anything bad) with organic pb, I have fruit an hour later, my stomach is too small and I need those carbs in the morning (more than just fruit carbs) so that gives me carbs, a little protein and fat. That by itself is good enough tbh if you're choosing a healthy carb and something healthy on top of it

I absolutely love seeing homosexual couples. Even as a teenager I encouraged everyone to show their love, to be proud of the person they love no matter the gender/sex. I think it is disgusting that people in 2019(!) still think it is unnormal. But everytime I see someone showing their love, I get so happy. Because they say "fuck you" to homophobes and old standards. Because they can be so brave in difficult times and still be able in showing their love, no matter how hard it can be with a lot of idiots out there.

I bust out laughing when I saw the secret snack drawer 😂
@natasharostova58595 жыл бұрын
Why? I don't get it. Compulsive eating looks a sickness; I'm going to assume that this sweet girl's snack drawer is a symptom; why is this funny? From what I see around me, well over half the people in the UK and the US cannot control their food intake for various reasons, so why is a 'snack drawer' something to laugh about? Seems like one too many snack drawers are killing a whole lot of people who do not want to be the way they are.
@zuccforvbuck73855 жыл бұрын
Linda Broussard If more than half of the people around you have one than it’s probably controllable... also like the way it was all relatively normal stuff and then she just like whipped out the massive drawer was funny

My mum has an eating disorder at 44 years old, she has battled with it on and off since she was 19. This time was triggered by something called short bowel syndrome, a chronic condition that means someone has very little bowel left. She developed this after a twisted bowel that was left untreated. This twisted bowel was likely a result of the huge weight gain/loss over the 20 years of anorexia-binge eating disorder. Most of her ed life she was at a healthy weight but her mind was only truly okay for a couple of years. Ive seen her both supersize and superskinny. She is superskinny now and is getting shorter, he skin is actually gray, her hair is so thin. I have atypical anorexia- i am actually obese at the moment but am losing 1kg+ a week. If any parents/grandparents have eating disorders just know it isnt your fault we learn these things. Its an illness of the mind if you blame yourself for someone else copying you it only gets worse for everyone. Children learn the weirdest things from their parents, dont take it as all your fault please, just work on being healthy for you, your child may likely follow that selflove.
@mothermary7658 Жыл бұрын
I know this is about your mum but i was in a similar position to yours and I really hope that you have found help and if you haven't I'd really encourage you to do so. This might be intrusive however starving yourself will never end even if you hit your 'goal' weight. Being obese doesn't mean that you have to starve yourself to reach a 'healthy' weight and I really hope you don't continue with this behaviour as it is so insanely damaging.

It's important to remember that people of all ages, all sizes, all walks of lives can develop all sorts of eating disorders, and that no matter what it can be just as devastating and terrible to deal with. Size especially is something that defines diagnosis way more than it should, because it affects the mind and sometimes it takes longer for it to show up physically. But that doesn't mean people don't experience the same emotional distress. Emma Woolf has an article about that and I really appreciate her for that.

I’ve been on both sides, super heavy and detrimentally thin. I’ve experienced health issues from both sides and had years of help from psychologists, nutritionists, and weight loss coaches. It’s all about your habits, once you change your daily routine then it becomes as easy as brushing your teeth. It takes alot of time, patience and know that you are deserving of a healthy life both mentally and physically. ❤

@Luboman4115 жыл бұрын
Hannah's breakfasts were fine. It was everything else she was doing for the rest of the day that was not fine. Eating so little after a normal breakfast is still not good; it's definitely unhealthy disordered eating...
@katierugg13145 жыл бұрын
Luboman411 yeah I agree was just making a point about the breakfast x
@andrewthezeppo5 жыл бұрын
Sometimes they have totally normal meals and it's everything else they do that's the problem. Like skinny's who will either have a normal breakfast or dinner with family and then basically nothing the rest of the day. Or sizers who eat normal meals with family and then snack all day and drink a ton of soda.
@jessp40165 жыл бұрын
Well, it'd be better to have a bigger breakfast and smaller dinner because you need more energy. So a nutrient-packed breakfast would be better. Fruit, whole grains, and protein. Plant proteins work too.

Whoa, that old lady is really wrinkled. She does look like she's in her 80s, though she's in her mid-60s if she got anorexia 11 years ago. I mean, some of those anorexics they had on the earlier episodes of this show were quite old looking for their age. I remember the guy--early 20s, but he looked so frail and withered. The same with that 37-year-old woman. Wow. What an awful disease...
@rubylace99634 жыл бұрын

My niece was diagnosed with it about 2 years ago and her doctor told her that anorexia is a life long mental condition, like alcoholics you can't just have one drink because it will start the cycle off again, same as my niece can't have just one day of counting calories. Anorexia isn't something that goes away. About 15 years ago, I was in a really bad relationship, mental cruelty and physical abuse, I ended up only 5 and a half stone and a heart condition, it took me uears to build my weigjt back up and the mental scars from my asshole ex who always told me I was fat, took my food away and wouldn't let me have control of my own money incase I bought food, damaged me for many years. thankfully I'm now at my goal weight of 10st, and 2 years after I left him I started martial arts which really boosted my confidence, I now teach women's self defense classes in the hope of help other girls and women to feel safe and happy. Teaching them tje warning signs of abuse if it's more mental then physical l, but also teaching them how to and when to defend themselves if someone lays a hand on them.
