XD In Austria or Germany if you go too fast you either get a ticket, means if the limit is like 130 km/h, that´s something about 80/75 mph around that, you can do 190 km/h(125 is 200 km/h so around 120 mph) so 60km/h (35 mph) over without the loss of your driving license^^ If you´re over that you get your license taken away for a period of time. In reality it´s like endanger anyone you get pulled over for 15 km/h over^^ You drive responsibly but 50 km/h over^^ nobody will care^^ So I will never understand why your cops are soo onto speeding offences?!

+xAlienWarfareGamingx You'll never get out of tickets. You kiss ass, so its easier to drop the ticket when you plead not guilty. @cup_and_cone9 жыл бұрын
+joshlete The issue at hand isn't "getting out" of a citation, it's incriminating yourself further. Most cruisers have cameras inside, and some LEOs have body mics to record audio, as well as what the LEO testifies in court. A cop can charge you with anything they want, it's in court where guilt is decided. You don't need to act like an asshole, but what you say DOES matter. Especially in this video, when they did not even know if they would be driving away or getting arrested.

Reminds me of a trip through WV several years ago. The traffic was about as heavy as in your video, everyone was doing the speed limit +5, including the cops. Some hotheads were complaining on the CB about " the damn cops following us". I countered with "don't be screwing with Smokey, he's not bothering anyone - including you". And he wasn't. It was a pleasure to travel without being bothered by someone watching the speedometer and our billfolds with an evil eye. One other: On my first trip to PA, via WV, I was approaching Beckley, northbound on I-77. It was approaching noon, so I stopped for lunch at a pizza place. Two local police were there, and before I left, I asked how good the 19 cutoff to Sutton was. They said there was work going on the road in a few places, but most it was good 2-lane which is what I grew up on and enjoy using. One volunteered "and nobody radars it". My kind of folks. And they weren't lying. After several trips through there, I have always enjoyed the freedom, although in later years it has become patrolled. My hat's off to nice police everywhere. They do their jobs, and don't abuse the position. Thanks guys.

As a police officer, I thank you guys for your courtesy and honesty. You have no idea how many times we pull someone over and get attitude even though they even admit to doing. And I know some people like to video tape their interactions with law enforcement, then have issues with law enforcement not liking that, but you gotta see it from the other side. If you were trying to do your job and people kept jamming a camera into your face every other minute, your required to wear a body camera at all times throughout your day, and you still face the reality of civil lawsuits, criminal charges, and the possibility someone may kill you every day, it can kinda wear on you. So when people don't treat us with respect, it really makes us appreciate those who do.

@officerfoxtrot36339 жыл бұрын
+TEMUJIN ARTS we have all done something wrong, from a traffic ordinance violation to an actual crime. We do not make the laws, we only enforce them. It doesn't matter if you drive a Honda Civic or a Lambo, if you are a politically important person or not, everyone is just as accountable. I do not issue any citations that I would complain about myself. I've gotten several speeding tickets in my life too. I've never driven the vehicles shown above, and would probably get in just as much trouble S others do if I had. We do not go out of our way to harass anyone. Do we pay more attention to vehicles that have a tendency to break speed limits? Yes. Just like we would pay more attention to people we know like to steal walking through a business. Think of another thing. Let's say an officer is traveling the interstate to go to a call. You are traveling the same interstate in the same direction. If he is going the speed limit and you are too, is it really him following you or not?
@TEMUJINARTS9 жыл бұрын
+Alex Friedrich You have missed my point ENTIRELY. But to address a point u made...outside of a parking ticket 10+ years ago...no we are not all guilty of something.
@officerfoxtrot36339 жыл бұрын
+TEMUJIN ARTS I addressed your comment regarding people not believing they have ever done anything wrong. In today's society, it's impossible. I do not know a single person that has not at one point, knowingly or unknowingly, broken the law or a traffic ordinance. My point: Police in general Don't Unnecessarily harass anyone. We perform our duties. However, there may be officers out there that abuse our authority. When you step up, put on a ballistic vest, take all the criticism based on what others in your profession have done, be hated by the general public while protecting them, and have a clue about what I do or who I am, then I'll be more than happy to hear how awful I am.

So they're "racing", in the middle of the day, on a perfectly straight highway where you can see 20 miles in every direction. How is that "putting people in danger"? It seems like the cop, who stopped in the middle of the road, was putting more people in danger than people driving above the absurdly SLOW speed limit in NM. There shouldn't even BE any speed limits anymore, cars are made to go much, much faster than 65mph. Last time I went through NM, I got pulled over doing 83 in a 65, in the middle of the desert, not another car in sight, I was literally the ONLY person he could have pulled over and he did it. He made the same argument, that I was putting people in danger, I said "who am I putting in danger?" He said, "yourself". I said, "Well, it's my life, I should be able to do as I please as long as I'm not harming others or damaging property, right?" He walked off and returned with a ticket. Cops in America don't understand the MEANING of freedom.

@silenceofthehams69028 жыл бұрын
Ahh it's called a Rocky Mtn. Radar scrambler, jammer. detector. And YES it is legal in Fla. and many other states. It also has a cloaking device that makes your radar invisible to cops. And yes it works awesome! I have been running one for some time and it has saved my ass so many times I can't count. What I love to see is when they hit me with laser radar what ever and they do a double take looking at the display. I have actually several times seen them bang on the side of there laser/radar gun as if it was defective. lol I do not drive without one. I also run a remote Bell Vector that helps with long long range detection. I've had a FHP car shadow me trying to get a read on me and I watched him keep covering his display and tapping his radar unit on his dash. Looking to see if the reading was correct. It's either dashes, zeros or blank. Love it! There is another company that uses a remote jammer, scrambler detection system that looks like the sensors in bumpers. If you run it in parts of the country where they are illegal then all you have to tell the cop is it's part of your backup sensors and they make it where you can flip a button to make them act as such.

..land of the free..? Germany has 50% Autobahn with no speed limit and still far lower death toll. These straight highways are tiring and boaring on these speeds and messing with cops is no fun at all - police generally is between unfriendly to bullying.... no wonder with the amount of armed drivers.

StefanMarkBee don't turn it into a firearms debate you lowlife
@valerierodger77006 жыл бұрын
The safety of German highways is in no small part due to zero tolerance for traffic violations. If traffic laws were enforced as diligently in the USA as they are in Germany, people would be screaming about living in a police state.
@252pq36 жыл бұрын
There's also a lot more people in the US than in Germany, so that "toll" number may be a bit misleading

Maybe if you didn't put decals all over your cars while running close to others who are also foolishly advertising some kind of stunt, and maybe if you didn't have go-pro's hanging off every panel you wouldn't get so many tickets...? Just a thought from a guy that lives 30+ over the limit and still has a valid license in the state he resides. I don't call it a rally , I call it Tuesday.
