Savasana is not just for the end of a class. Nor is it just lying on you back with your legs extended. This version has us prone (belly down) on a support system of blankets, bolsters, pillows, etc... I talk about how you can make this happen with various props you have lying around your house. If like me, you've had some stress recently in your life, this might be the perfect pose. Quite honestly, whether or not I'm going through a "stressful time" - restorative yoga has always been "just what I needed" every time I have ever done it. It is a place to rest and let the MindBody rejuvenate itself. So take a few minutes and give yourself a break :-)
