When using the Sabiki rig, a fast way of unhooking them is get a wooden dowel about 3/8" x 12''. Bring up the line, slide the rod down to the hook, shake it over the bait tank or bucket. We use this in the ocean for sardines and small mackerel. Fast and clean. I really enjoy your videos. Keep the line wet, and the rod bent.

Very cool. I love the country, nice sunset. Those skipjacks look a lot like Pacific Herring(I'm from Vancouver Island) except a little bigger. We use the same rigging to catch them...we call it a 'Herring Jig'. There is a simple loop knot for rigging the multiple hooks...we use small glow beads and a bit of white or pink yarn on each hook. I've seen some decent youtube vids showing you how to make them. Cheers :)

I just subscribed to this channel after seeing you help Steve Douglas remodel the night club. But my question is, was that hush puppy you put on the fish, was it homemade or store bought premix?
@RegularDudeFishing

It was a premix from Kroger.
