Hey John, watching this on my phone and I cannot make out if you are placing the boards in some faster current which is keeping the boards in motion while you are stationary or if you are trolling these boards? Also when trolling for skipjack what have you found to be the optimal speed that produces well?

My closest river is the susquehanna and it has saugar in it , however I never caught any . Walleye either which it also has . Looks like a blast catching them ! FISHING ❤

I only ever caught 1 walleye in my life and it was 30 yrs ago by accident. Never seen a sauger before except your videos . Need you as my guide I think 🤔

I myself have never caught a blue cat . My son caught a nice 1 that was 37 inches long though. They are beautiful fish for sure . Fish on !

Kansas tarpon! Also known as Goldeneye here in NE Kansas. They are in some of our lakes but not in abundance. We usually just use shad for catfish baits. I enjoy your videos, down to earth and real. Not like all these KZbinrs with to many sponsors.. I like watching local guys also, just keep it real.. Tight lines!

The smaller minnows are hiding next to you because they know skipjack and what not won’t come up with your silhouette that close. I guess that Bird figured it out too lol

Mooneye are crazy looking little fish, but the cats love em!! I was losing alot of skipjack off my Foley spoon, until I put a stinger hook on it and it works great!!! Usually will hook them with both hooks.
