In fact, there was also a 2003 Swift Sport with a 1.5 l producing 113 hp. Outside Japan, it was called the Ignis Sport and made 109 hp if I'm correct. 0-100 was about 8.9 seconds. But besides that, cool video! Didn't even know about those fancy JDM only models.

Thx for your comment . In fact i already seen the ignis sport in its s1600 version but I didn't know that it was also called a Swift in Japan. I also heard about the Swift S2 Concept Car. thanks for the precision 👍.

yes.. I find it a bit strange that suzuki Japan's calls it swift because every ignis sport doesn't look as a swift at all😅

Very good video to compare all sport generations. But realistically it’s not all about how quick they go off the line. Light nimble fun to drive cars is what they’re all about. Just like an MX5 too. You could have a 10 second 0-100 swift and still have fun in it.

Newest swift 0-100 in 6.4? I think that you're very optimistic. I had the 1.6 with 136 hp, 8.7 was the time,not 7 sec.

maybe it's because I take the time on the speedometer and not with the GPS (I obviously can't do that otherwise I would have). And sorry if it feel very optimistic, but that what i have counted.

It is not the newest one. It is the non-hybrid 1.4 with automatic transmission.

officially the newest has a time of 8.1. but in most test it's 7,1 to 7,8 or something. Anyway it's quite quick @ trafficlight

I pulled a 6.2 in my ZC33s 2018 sport, it's very possible if you launch it correctly.

i don't know for the other country, but here in France the swift is very popular, in particularly the (zc32s) generation, we even see them in Rally. Those cars are perfect for the mountain road we have in Corsica.

In Mexico is quite popular, and often you will find ZC33S reprogrammed Stage 1. Both generations were very popular, however, 32S was really expensive so you will see only few ones. 33S in the the other hand is the opposite, I do have one: after analyzing the entire market this provided the best cost/benefit relationship.

In Chile, the ZC33s is the most popular of all, but it is still rare, usually there are no more than 10 units published on the Facebook Marketplace, the zc32s is very scarce but the zc31s only got 3 units to Chile in 2009, the zc31s you see in Chile are usually imported from Japan.
